Oh definitely. Feeding time is fun! Everyone of them dances waiting for their bowl to be placed in their spot. Got to love them.

Well you may or may not remember my posting back in Oct about how sick Gracie was and how we didn't think she'd make the weekend.

Without getting into details we decided today she had had enough.

She was 15 years old this month more or less, we got her in Feb 2006 from the humane society here in town. She's now playing with her other two buddies who crossed the bridge, Millie and Abbie.

Thanks for your prayers in the past my Tundra friends.

Sorry for your loss. 15 years is a long time. You have her a good home. Best decision for her doesn't mean an easy one for you.

I didn’t know about them either till my wife said one day she wished she could find a lab that was the color of a weimeriner. Google helped us out and we found some breeders. This lab has zero prey drive though. Good family dog but “dog won’t hunt”. Here is a pic of how you will normally find her.

Welcome. The best part is he wouldn't come in and they had to trek out in waist-deep snow to pick him up like a princess and bring him inside.

My greyhound never had that issue because he was never in the snow long enough.. he had a fuzzy collared bomber jacket that I'd make him wear since he basically had no hair or fat and he would sprint out, pee, and sprint back inside, then have a 10 minute case of the 'zoomies' around the house to warm back up. He was not a winter dog. Or a summer dog actually. He really didn't do much besides sleep all day. 45mph couch potato.

Had to say goodbye to my oldest today. She'd be 15 1/2 years around this time. I've had her since she'd been a few weeks old. She was a rescue. Second dog I've ever owned. I didn't want to bring down the thread but felt like telling people who'd understand and (selfishly) I wouldn't have to respond with, "I'm doing okay."

Not to sound cliché, but I made a saying ever since I had to let go of my first one: May the sun hit your face, wind blow on your back, and grass on your paws forever now.

Always hard to say goodbye to a friend you’ve had for that long. Take your time to work through it. Just think of the life you gave her, especially being a rescue.
