My 2016 CM 4 x 4 with the 5.7 is just about to turn 100k miles. Much of this is what I would call true highway miles. New Orleans to North Dakota, Oklahoma, New York, Wyoming, etc...you get the picture. I plan to run it another 100k. OCD me says change everything then the cheap side says what do I really need to change. Unless I missed something, the Toyota Maintenance schedule I have shows coolant at 100K, spark plugs at 120k and the only reference I see to transmission, differential (front or rear) and transfer case is under "extreme duty" (towing, hauling loads, etc.). I do have 10-15k towing loads under 5k#. I see nothing about steering and brake fluid flushes.

I use 100k to refresh everything. Fluids, filters, plugs, belt. It's not all that much nor hard for a DIYer.

In your case, doesn't pay to be cheap. Better now at your convenience than on the road to one of your destinations.

    This post here!

Get oem spark plugs from the dealer as well, don't buy them from another source, they make knock off plugs. I have a thread on it showing the difference.

Id recommend changing all your fluids, especially transmission fluid. Do a full drain and fill of 12 qts. Plenty of threads on how to do this properly, no need to change the filter.

I used a suction gun from harbor freight to changing my power steering fluid, I also have a thread on this showing how dirty my fluid was, it takes around 2 quarts to do this. Suck out as much fluid as you can, fill it up, run it around the block a few times, and repeat until you've used 2 quarts of fluid.

    Hope this helps!

How often do people have issues with build up and getting the plugs out at 100K?

Perform all applicable service listed in the owners manual, plus all applicable service listed for "Severe Conditions" or similar heading.

Inspect everything underneath with a bright flash light, spray ATP AT-205 on all rubber boots, bushings, etc...

Build up? Use a top tier fuel. Change oil regularly.

Plugs at 100k. Shouldn't be stuck.

Perform or pay for all the services. Your truck could easily be a 500k truck with your use. Yes.... You could loose a water pump or starter shortly, but at least see if your weeping (not crying from the bill). Lol
