Headlight and dashboard turn off

I just email them and called them regarding the tundras problem with the head light and dashboard turn off with using turn signal

 

I use hand signals out the window.

 

Haven’t called them yet, but now I will. Just after I figure out what I’m calling about.

 

On here there is a forum with the auto headlight shut off with turning signal. I dont know how to post on there so i post a new post. I see it happen alot with the 1794 edition and the platinum edition where the headlight turn off when we use the turn signal

 

Headlight or DRL? My headlights and dash lights do not turn off when I put the turn signal on. I’m not sure about DRL as I’ve never been outside the truck with the turn signal on.

I have seen other brands where the DRL turns off when the signal is on. I’m sure it’s a safety feature so other drivers can see the signal better.

 

The Headlight i was driving at night and doing like 75 and i signal to merch to the right lane my dashboard flash then it go out at the same time the deadlight flash then turn off until i play with the signal again then it turn on.

 

You guys are using signals?

 

I do, most others don't.

Even our cyclists don't know how to signal properly. I thought it was all done with L arm, as that is the inside arm when cycling on the road, but apparently you just have point to where you are going with whatever arm you want.

Fyi...I'm a cyclist and signal with L arm only

According to this thread, it appears that replacing the headlight stalk seems to be the most effective method of resolving this. I don't know how effective it is long term or if they changed anything with the new part.
