I'll get them packed up setup freight. You'll get an email with tracking information when the truck picks up and gives me a PRO number.

    Thank you

The 4-6 week approximation on the website is the best I can do right now. We're about to transition to sliders shortly but we have a fairly large run to complete so promising any quicker at this time could lead to disappointment.

Is it possible to order the curved out bar in the front and the dimpled step plates in the rear, opposite of what's pictured?

    image.jpg

If so, what option do I select on your site?

If I understand this correctly you want tubing to be of the same style, only the kickout on the front directly behind the front tire, instead of the rear?

If I have that correctly choose dimple die panel front only, then send me an email with your order number and the request and I'll get it marked on your build sheet.

You probably want a bigger area to step? That kickout pushes rocks away from your truck if you Offroad.

Yeah, a bigger area to step (and to hopefully stop door dings in the front) but also smaller area near the rear to get hung up on rocks when off roading. I'm just starting off roading, so if I'm incorrect in expecting to get hung up more often near the rear of the truck let me know.

Yeah that kick out most likely isn't going to hang you up. If you're hung up on that area you were probably either going to get hung up anyway or take body damage.

My suggestion is We could make them as shown with 2nd extra 1-1.5 inches of width. Beyond that they start to be inconvenient getting in and out if the truck.

Just to put this out there, the shape of most car doors odds wider at the top when opened, and your doors bulge out wider the closer you get towards windows and are narrower closer to the rockers. Anything but a lie to the ground car will likely have the reach to sing your door over any pair of sliders.

I can handle 1-1.5" additional width in the tooling we have set up. For that there would be no additional fee unless there were other changes too.

Beyond that we have to custom make them outside of our toolling which takes much longer and we would need to charge some extra labor on that.

With the extra width... would it still have the kick out in the rear or would it be all the same size front to back? Kinda like a step/slider combo? If that is the case.. I'm very interested. I was looking at the Slee sliders, but they don't accomodate the larger fuel tank yet.

I will be so excited when I finally get them that I will be shouting from the rooftops and driving to everyone's house to show them off. That might of been a bit of hyperbole, but I'll make sure to tell you.

I'm in the same boat. I like the Slee sliders but not sure how long before they make it for the 38 gal tank. I would love to see pictures of the slider with extra width.

Do you have any additional pictures of the Type 1 on a 2nd Gen? Top and side pics would be good.

They look like a minimal rock rail to protect against damage without any step or extension.

Also, when I added them to my cart and selected shipping it said "Free" even to my address, is this correct?

Yep, I've often said to myself if I were to replace my N-Fab's, this is the way I would go. Love the look of these!

 Id love to see what these look like in person. Then again if I like them as much as I expect I would, that could be a problem ... Lol.

2 thumbs UP on P&P sliders. Just got mine installed (replacing OEM black tube steps). These sliders are SOLID, top notch build quality. I got the Raptor liner finish. I could have left the front mud flaps, but think it looks better without.

    Here are some pics...

So.... The early pregnant wife wants steps on the truck, so I'm looking to do sliders in lieu. Would you say these would qualify as a "step" for a pregnant woman with smaller feet?

Yup, works great as a step -- more "foot area" than the tube steps I had before. These sit maybe 2-3 inches higher than the tube steps. The open step in the rear is not a problem, the tubing provides plenty of surface area as a step. Here are some pics from the door...
