Don't know much about the amp but believe just adding an aftermarket HU will most likely get the sound your looking for.

It s probably 440watts divided by number of speakers.

Seems like the biggest unknown on the OEM Audio + system is the "Acoustic Correction Filter", I understand the premise of what it's doing and would be interested in applying that alone to the system. Any idea on what's actually going on behind the shrink wrap?

I've already installed the Tech12volts sub box/sub (Massive upgrade) but I'm still getting distortion from the door speakers.

I called OEM Audio Plus and the way they described their “acoustic filters” is basically a crossover. How theirs actually works, I don’t know. From reading the reviews on the system it seems like it does the job.
If there was a way to utilize a crossover to direct the audio signals properly I’m sure it would greatly increase the quality of sound.

Hi everyone I have a question and it might be a noob one but here it goes. I have a 2020 limited crew cab with jbl premium. I’ve upgraded the sub to the JL Audio stealth box with 2-10 inch woofers behind slither seat with a one channel 1,000 watt jl amp. I would like to upgrade door speakers and was wondering if I can just get a wiring adapter and just plug them into the factory jbl amp that came with the truck. I’ve been reading a lot on the forums but I don’t know anything about wiring stereos or anything with car audio. Any information would help. Thanks in advance

I have a 2018 1794 Edition. Replaced the whole JBL Premium system with a complete package from James @tech12volt for only around $1200. I had already replaced the head unit with a Kenwood. It sounds amazing. James will not steer you wrong and has options for any budget depending on what you want to accomplish. Not to mention, first class customer service! Do yourself a favor and contact James. You won't regret it.
