    Anyone got em?

Google search gives me the impression that they are the same exact steps as AMP, but equipped with different motors. They look very similar.

They can be found for $800 whereas the Amp steps are $1400. Thats a pretty decent price difference.

    Not nearly enough room here!
I've had Bestop's Trec-Step (Bed Step) for several years and it's been fine. Larger and more anti-slip and at a better price than Amp Research's. A little effort put into research and shopping paid off for me, looks like it will for you too:oldglory:

with black friday sales on the horizon, hopefully i can find it for a great deal. Ive always wanted electric steps but $1400 for AMP steps were out of the question. Hopefully ill score on a Bestop set

directly from bestop.com has them for $679.99, thats a bargain

These are at a good price point at $679 right now. Always curious how something like these will hold up in a salt/rough winter climate.

I looked at them but they are listed for 2007 to 2014 only. Anyone know why?

Well, hell. I guess I'll be the Guinea Pig on these. After reading a ton of reviews, including those specific to Tundras, it seems to be a fair shot on these. Besides, Auto Anything (AA) just beat Bestop's price and honored their (Bestop's 10% veteran discount) for a total of $648.71 delivered. I mean damn. How could I not buy these??? Let me know if you think that argument will work on the Mrs.! I figured I'd practice it here first. :spending:

As an aside, AA just beat the cheapest online price for the Steelcraft Fortis HD front bumper I could find. They knocked shipping down to $20 from $149, it came to $655.19 delivered. Same argument as above...how could I not? Besides, for the price I just spent on a color matched TRD pro grill & bulge from Sparks, these seemed so much more reasonably priced. Wait, almost forgot, I also have the NSV light bar I got on the Black Friday deal. Damn, I also forgot the four light pods and light bar I purchased for the new bumper as well as the controller. Shit, I'm gonna hate this month's cc statement.

Can someone send me a link for a virtual financial counselor? I need some help but based on my recent purchases I need to counselor to preferably be free. Perhaps a vendor could block access to this site for me?

Based on shipping times and the need to find the time for installs, updates are gonna take a bit but will be provided nonetheless. Here are screenshots of the invoices for AA. I highly recommend these folks!

I looked in to them last year and was turned off by the door sensors. Heres a random install vid put out by them, go to 2:20 on the vid and see what I was talking about.

Yeah man. As soon as they arrive. Based on the shipping date, I'll be putting these on instead of putting bikes together on Christmas Eve--priorities!

I agree, didn't like the NX version with the magnets. That's why I opted to get the "lesser model" which requires me to hardwire everything. More time but cleaner install IMO.

See I didn't even know that, I ended up with Amp's because a local guy bought used truck with them but he is backing into the boat landing twice a week and traded me straight up for my OEM boards.

Ill be tuned in. :monocle: Id like to hear your first-hand opinion on them. Maybe the $679 price tag will last til the end of the year.

Clean is the only way to go

I just ordered the NX version. We'll see if it works with the 2020s. The only issue I foresee is the mounting points underneath.

Mine are scheduled to arrive late in the month. How about you? I'll post an update. It would be awesome if you could as well. What issue regarding mounting points are you referring to?

Will do. So far estimated for a 20201210 delivery to the DC/NOVA area. They offered two day shipping but I passed on that.

Oh and thanks for the heads up on these @vegas4x4 these are half the price of the AMPs but these are PnP and I don't have to get an OBD splitter.

Its pure speculation on my part. The Powerboard NX model stops at 2014 but I'm in a 2020. If there are any issues with installation I suspect it would be where the board motors mount underneath the truck but I'm pretty sure the 2014s have the same pattern as the 2020s.

Ah, I see. Though I am not 100%, I have read tons of install updates on here. It appears they are identical mounting locations. For what its worth, mine are listed through a '17 model.

I think you are right, it should be the same. I bought a few items for early models that fit the 2020. Bestop needs to update their website.

Received the kit today. Looks good. Removed my old running boards and marked the placement of the sensors. I may try and install it tomorrow if time and weather allows.
