    Just spawning conversation. Who else here ordered a lift for their trucks within the first 24 hours of signing your life away. Haha I ordered and made an appointment with local custom shop within the first 12 hours of owning my truck.

    Yeah, you'll fit in just fine. I didn't do it in the first 12 hours, but within the first week, I had about $6500 worth of stuff installed. Of course, I was already a member on here and this is my second Tundra, so I knew what would happen.

    Only thing I haven't ordered is my rubbers. I wanna keep my stock Rims because I like them. Will I have an issue with 285/65R18? Been digging around and can't find a thread that specifically addresses this

    Mine was looking at the tundra group page on FB last night and kept saying to me: "Those lights are cool, they would look good on your truck. You should get those things that are on the fenders. Is this the light bar you want? That would look great on your truck. Why haven't you done this?" I said "cause you won't release the funds!" :frusty:

    Mine wanted to kill me. Here is what took place within a week span. Keep in mind my wife is 8 months pregnant with our 3rd...

    - went $5K over budget on my garage rebuild
    - went out to buy groceries, came home with a tundra (selling our 750li)
    - ordered suspension/wheels/tires
    - sent my hot rod out to get Ceramic PRo'd (...wasn't cheap....but I needed somewhere to store it while the garage got remodeled and the detailer sounded like a natural solution)
    - sent out the 911's wheels to get rebuilt and refinished.....



    Luckily I met my wife on a car forum 16 years ago....so she gets it....and then takes my credit card and buys a bunch of shit



    My wife finished her MBA 8 years ago and hasn't worked a day since. She had no clue how much money I make until I accidentally fucked up and had her send some documents to my CPA last year.......I've been paying for it ever since

    Never considered it, especially for a daily driver. To me a liftet truck is a PIA. Both the 2016 HD Cummins Rams I had were as high as guy at works lifted Tundra, they were both a PIA when it come to parking garages and my 8' ceiling garage. Have a co-worker who had a lifted truck, nothing but front end problems. Truck was lifted by a reputable shop, between the change in suspension geometry and the bigger tires, it ate front end parts like candy.

    Last Thursday after work I took my Borla cat back system off my 2014, bolted the stock exhaust back on... traded in the 2014 for a 2017 on Friday, and by Saturday noon had my Borla system on the new rig... oh yeah... hey Guys and Gals... I'm the proud owner of a new 2017 TRD Tundra DC!
    Already ordered NFAB step bars... have red LED interior lights to install... light bar is back ordered... already installed my gun vault under the rear seat..

    I completely get it guys... Haha she's all go for tires tho, I just find it hard to swallow another 1400 dollar bill after I've dropped 1800 for lift, bars, and tint.

    My dilemma is.. I used to be a heavy spender and never think twice about it. My wife (business finance guru) came along gave me a budget and said numbers don't lie, follow this and you will save money. Since then I cringe when spending a shit ton of money.. Haha I know buck up and shut up. I am just on the fence on what to get... all terrain or mud tires, I want to make a good choice.

    Also the tires I have are stout, just lack aggressive look
