Picked up my truck cover, and ended up buying a set of Rhino Rack towers and cross bars and snowboard rack to go onto the rails. I like the design of the Rhino Rack towers sooo much better than the Yakima towers (which always fell apart on me when I would try to open them up to remove them).

Gotta go get our Christmas tree in the morning, and then hoping to get the cover and rack installed tomorrow afternoon.

I installed my Marathon seat covers today. I had them on my previous truck, and they performed well. The fit isn't quite as good on this set, but I'll adjust them a bit after I've sat in them for a couple weeks to break them in. Went with a custom two-tone to match the other grays in the cabin.

 

yeah, this are sharp. I love my OEM black wheels too.

What do you mean by “they performed well”. Is there something special or specific to these covers? And why? You don’t like the leather seats?

 

I also installed my AJT Design cup holder, shift gate, and surround. I'm really liking the look. I have to admit, that this challenged me a bit more than i wanted it to. Drilling out the plastic welds wasn't quite as simple as all the YouTube videos I watched.

 

Washed her last weekend, but installed my Pedal Commander yesterday - haven't driven it yet though with it! Have in my possession the Viofo Pro Dou dash came and a NATIKA camera to install in my front grill and integration with my Kenwood HU. I also picked up a trunk/cargo organizer for my wife to give me for Xmas and a Ginour polisher.

I did similar on my previous truck. The TRD OR wheels are great quality and I think look better powder coated, or painted, in matte black. Well done! FrenchAvocado asked about cost. Mine were $60 each including lug nuts. I did the center caps myself.

 

Funny. I did the same to my 18 cement crewmax about a month ago. I was just messing around with left over vinyl. I used the same product but in the "light tint" version. I'll go grab a few pics for comparison.

Thanks! Yep- TRD Offroad wheels. I bought a set of take offs to get PC’d black, and I’ll put them on soon when I get new tires. I figure I’ll sell my current wheels at that time if anyone around here is interested.

A couple folks asked about current pricing. I’m in the Portland area. I got several quotes. Blast/powder shops seem REALLY busy right now, and are taking forever and charging a premium. The best deal I found was $100 per wheel, blasted and powdercoated.

It seems like right now you can get take offs in new condition for about $100 each, so this total project cost is $800, and you can recoup some of that by selling the wheels you are replacing.

 

Thanks for the link! I blacked out (murdered out?) my center caps and I’m going to see how I like that look. I find that’s how my taste seems to be pushing me right now. I just have to figure out what to do with my chrome grill surround to really finish the look.

Exactly! I only drilled through once, but I had to route out every hole several times to get the screws to set right.
