Install a new GTR Ultra 2 fogs on 2017 Tundra Crew. I removed the front wheel liners and a 6-inch by half inch metal piece fell off on both the left and right side. Not sure what this piece does. It didn't seem to be screwed on anywhere tight since it fell off very easily. Please advise what this piece does. Pic attached.

That looks like the piece behind the plastic liner that holds the front mud flap screws.
