What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Switched my daughter from the red Tundra to the black one. It’s been a few days so I asked her what she thought. Once again, Radiant Red is confirmed as the fastest color.

They're an OEM available accessory up here in CAN. It says they're for the fronts and they come in sets of x2 but they fit the same in the back . Below is the part #

Very true. I hope the steps help mitigate wear and tear in that area by keeping ppl from step on the threshold... Anyone installed a strip of PPF on that corner edge?

 

What kind of lift (if any) are you running?

 

I know some people run skateboard deck tape on there. I bought bent aluminum sill protectors that cover the top and side.

 

Nothing too fancy... trying to keep it simple and flexible.
Two slot “frames” that have a recess in the back for 1/4” DIA x 1/16” tall magnets (since the safe has metal on both sides of the console wall), and then the divider itself with the angle to match the console wall.

But yeah, I guess I look like a criminal because this Puerto Rican has been pulled over for not having a front license plate and has been ticketed, despite a TX LTC, for speeding (36 in a 30 zone). Was as polite and respectful as could be. So were both officers that pulled me over, but I guess sometimes you just can’t catch a break.

Around here it's so the red light/speed cameras can catch you. So it's all about revenue generation.

I can’t comment on that if it was that or not BUT speaking of profiling....
1 time I was driving and saw a speed limit sign with a “your speed” connected to it. I sometimes like to romp on it to see my speed go up haha. Sure enough.... cop.... I got lit up and pulled over. Did what I was supposed to do and look in my mirror and saw a female cop coming to my window. I was pissed off inside. I was like awwwww damn, looks like I’m getting a ticket guaranteed! She came to the window I had everything ready ( willing and expecting to take the ticket ) and said here’s my LTC and I have 3 loaded handguns in my truck. She said “we don’t have a problem unless you pull them out on me”. Gave me a warning..... blew my mind! Haha

Don't let MrEZ does it or others ruin your day. I'm like you and I love the sound of the TRD exhaust. Some don't like the sound of a dual exhaust, period. I think the popular verbage of "helicopter" sound criticism is because of the deep tone, coupled with the side exit on the TRD system. To each their own. They are unlikely to keep listening to your Pro System, unless they want to replay your video on an infinite loop. Drive on brother.

 

I remember writing my state representative about it. I asked him to sponsor legislation doing away with it, citing other states that don’t require it and the potential savings it might bring with issuing just one instead of two. He was very supportive of the idea until the law enforcement lobby complained. Apparently, it helps them run plates if they’re facing the front of the vehicle.

 

I wish that was the case. I’ve probably seen enough B rated movies that I wouldn’t mind being cuffed BUT.....

If your from Hawaii you know what a PITA it is to get a “RECON” sticker, had to remove my muffler dump and instal factory muffler. Then pass and back to weld on my Xpipe rear dump

 

Got a few things done this week, installed my Jomax ABS armor, spidertrax wheel spacers, ebay fender flares, and did some trimming of the inner fender. Door edge guard works great for cleaning up the cuts.
