I have one. I really like it. My only complaint is that it drains really slowly. It probably takes 2, maybe 3 times as long to drain. It's not a big deal for me though as I do my oil change at the same time as I do my seasonal tire swap so I'll do the 2 front tires while the oil drains.

 

Best thing since sliced bread! I have one on my Tacoma and will be putting one on the Tundra at the first oil change.

 

Dude. That frame looks brand new or you are Feather Duster Extrodinaíre. I like the matching Yellow Zinc Bolt to compliment your Fumo Valve.

 

It's great! Forgot to put in the black lock clip.

 

I hated mine at first because it legitimately took nearly 90 minutes to drain. Someone said I need to do it with the engine warm. Now it drains in 5-10 and I love it. I attach a hose to the end and run it down through my skid plate into my catch pan.

 

Absolutely love mine.

Some really dirty oil, too...

 

I am more interested in that dually conversion.

 

Ikr. I know that vehicle is a diesel..but whenever I change my parents 2013 silverado 5.3's oil, it comes out black , even at 5k. I'm not sure if that means anything or not but the average person would assume that that's a BAD thing.

 

I used to put them on everything I owned for the past 30 years. But I no longer change my own oil. Now just easier to get it done with the yearly state inspection. They do take a little longer to drain. Which was never a problem for me.
But had a friend that worked at a shop. Told me some serv tech will not wait longer. They just drain part of the oil instead of waiting. And since I only put on about 4K miles a year.
On each of my 2003 Tundra & 2003 4runner. My old oil is never dirty enough to tell the difference. I guess they do run the risk of overfilling since they have to guess. But then again, this makes it easy to drain a little back out.
But when doing myself all the time, I always loved the things since they came out.

 

I installed one when I did my last oil change which was the first one I have done on the Tundra now that the ToyotaCare is up. Looking forward to testing it out this Spring and not dumping a quart of oil on top of my skid plate like last time

 

Having the oil fill cap off helps too.

 

I either crack the cap or pull the dipstick slightly

 

Got a fumoto on 3 of my 5 vehicles, yes drains slower, but remember to remove/loosen oil filler cap first, that helps speed things up considerably.

Ok, where is the Hose? I put one on my vehicles and leave it in place, just coil it up there where it won't fall, no hunting at oil change time, its right there! Much less of a mess....Luck all.

 

What size hose can fit on the nipple?

 

Have Fumotos on all my vehicles. Only way to go.
I put the front of the vehicle up on ramps, remove the filler cap, open the Fumoto and let it rip.

If you're doing Fumoto valves you might as well get one of these too! It makes the filter change ALMOST drip free.

I love how their disposable funnel is more expensive than a plastic(disposable) funnel

Was waiting for someone to state this before I got to the end of the thread and did so myself...

 

Put one of those on my wife’s Yukon. I really like it. Built in redundancy. Some have said the washer leaks, but I haven’t had any problems.

 

I just use my Jean pockets cause I'm absolutely disgusting

 

I’m guessing this is for a 2nd or 3rd Gen?

 

I have both drain valve and drain hose, works great, plus I drain right into a 2 1/2 gal jug cap it and done, no mess....
