It has probably been asked before, but I am looking for advice on a good dual exhaust for my tundra that isn’t too aggressive. While searching the forums, it appears that BAMufflers from Dirty Deeds seems to be the favourite. I live in Canada and have spoken to Keith, but for me to get one of his systems will cost me over $1500 without shipping by the time I do the exchange rate and taxes at the border.

Does anyone have a reasonable recommendation for me? Would be interested in hearing some sound clips if you have them.

    Thank you I’m advance!

Thanks for the link, but as stated in the write up I can’t get this system as to Canada without taking out a small mortgage to pay for it. Lol. Looking for anything but BAMufflers.

I hear ya man, the exchange rate kills so many mods I’d like to do!

That is for sure. I would love to get the TRD Pro exhaust, but none of the dealers in Ontario can get it.

There are some. But they are all pushing the Magnaflow pretty hard and won’t give a recommendation for anything else. I had a Magnaflow on my last truck and it droned pretty bad.

I true custom exhaust shop will fab up a setup with the muffler/s you want or provide. They need to do it your way. Find a shop that will do it the way you want it.

Thanks. That is what I am attempting to do. Lol. I am just looking to see if anyone has a good recommendation for a nice sounding but not too loud muffler that I could look into.

I have been reading up on the MBRP XP Series in stainless that is looking like their version of the TRD Pro kit that is available for the truck

Keith at @dirtydeeds will sell individual mufflers/resonator that you could get shipped up your way I'm thinking without breaking the bank. You could then get a local shop to fab up a system. Call Keith and ask for his advice. Can't hurt. :canada:

Yes, I have looked at them before. With shipping, exchange and taxes I am looking just under $1500 CAD and I still have the stock tail pipes.

Check out Corsa. It's a good system that is not obnoxious or overly aggressive

Should be able to get a TRD exhaust pretty easily, at least here in alberta. I bought mine in september. try sourcing from a different dealer. Also the TRD sounds amazing. Overtime it starts to break in and just gets better with age :bananadance:

I may have to see if I can order from Alberta and see if they will ship to me.

Is that the Corsa system? Have been reading up on them a little on my free time.

I'm not sure what system you talked to Keith about previously, but you may want to revisit this. Usually we ship for around $200-400 depending on where in Canada. We do have a sale going on right now with 25% off the cost of the system. Check out the attached.

I don’t remember the name of the system, was about a year ago. All I remember is that it was stainless for my 5.7L. It was about $800 US. With the exchange rate and tax here in Canada I am just shy of $1300 CAD. That didn’t include shipping or the sales tax where you are. And he told me that I would have to use my stock tailpipe. That was for a single exit system.

If you have new systems or pricing, I would revisit to possibility.

We do have the sale running I was talking about; 25% off standard systems.

I will have a look at your website again and run the numbers. But It may be too expensive for what I am getting. Keeping in mind that exchange rate and taxes make it this way. If I lived in the states and didn't have all these extras that increase the price by hundreds of dollars, it would be allot easier to afford.

Yup have had them on three trucks. They’re great systems...no drone, quiet until you mash it.

That is awesome! Exactly what I am looking for. I will be looking at the system a little closer. Just want to read up on them a little more and check out some sound clips online to get an idea of what it may sound like.
