    Looking into upgrading my headlights...
Hello, I have a 2016 1794 Edition. One thing that’s bothering me is my brakes. 90% of the time they make a squealing noise. I had the dealer look at it. They said everything looks fine. I’m trying to figure out is how’s everything fine with that annoying noise. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, what can be done about it?

Replace your pads. If there's plenty of meat on them still, then there could be a hard spot or just bad pads.

My truck sits monday-friday. Every time I get in it to go the brakes squeal to the point it embarasses me. They stop by the 2nd or 3rd stop. Glad it's not just me.

Thats most likely rust. It happens quickly on brake pads.

If there is plenty of pad left, apply a coating to the backplate, most likely the noise is coming from friction between the caliper and the plate. There is a specific coating for this issue.

it is due to the truck sitting and light rust forming on the rotors. However, as Bammer notes, lack of anti squeal can cause the noise and unlubed brake caliper pins will also. But if the brakes feel good, good pad left and overall smooth operation it is likely just the rust contamination which will be removed after a few brake applications.

Do you have a boat? I back in to lakes weekly and my brake squeak from it. Just a thought.
