Home made slider mounts #1 was surprisingly successful. Minor adjustments can be made and I still need to add additional mounting holes.
Just like everything else, I don't plan on these being ready any time soon but it's nice to see some progress.

I've been too busy to focus on building the slider so I decided to play around with my new desktop CNC machine in my spare time. After two weeks of playing with a design, I came up with a latching Pelican case mounting system.
I'm still fine tuning the mechanism but im happy with it so far.

Nice! Care to share any info on the CNC setup? Sounds interesting.

They did not work though the plugs fit fine. I left min on only because the headers relocate the o2 sensors to far away fire the connectors to reach comfortably.

Thank you. I actually swapped out the Dirty Deeds 17" muffler for a 24" muffler and it made a huge difference; too much I'd say. It still has a nice rumble but it's surprising quiet when you stomp on the gas. I'm waiting to get the supercharger installed to make my final decision on which muffler to use.
I hate that I have a CEL but I've had no issues besides with the P0420/P0430 codes.

That's good to hear. I was hoping that they would use HP Tuners. I call Magnuson every couple of weeks to a month to check on the progress. I am due to call them soon. Last I heard they hadn't decided which tuner would be used and the timeframe would be at the end of the year into the beginning of next year.

    Nice!
I did it all myself and it was a PITA. It took about 6 hours. Lots of tight fits and lots of patience. Super difficult; no. Just more difficult without an extra set of hands or lift. I did use the ARH gasket.
One thing to be sure of is to tighten the flange bolts that are under the turn downs first. I went for the top first because they were more convenient but then the lower bolts were too long to fit between the threads and the header pipes.
Another bit of advice is to get the truck on a lift or jack stands before starting. You'll need a good amount of clearance to move pipes around.

As mentioned above, I had to modify the axis a little to be more sturdy for the aluminum but mostly because the Z-axis carriage had press in threads and the vibration from cutting aluminum jiggled then loose. Even after the modification I couldn't cut more than 0.05" per pass.
This was great for small prototyping but I picked up a new - to me - table that I need to get functioning.

That thing is sweet! Wish I had the room for a table like that. I think I’ll go with the bench top mill and add the cnc part to it eventually

I apologize for skipping over the question about sound with the 24" muffler. I would compare the sound to a modern stock muscle car; deep and throaty-er but not that loud. I think the TRD muffler would be a good middle ground.

Nice! If you are on Facebook, check out the PNW Tundras group.
Thanks for the compliment. I personally thought I would be a little further by now but oh well.

I am definitely running out of room but can't resist having the ability to fab my own stuff.
This is an older picture but it's my plasma and welding tables.

@InTheRough I don’t have Facebook, but have heard of the page. I bought a bed system for the back of the truck (to go under the canopy) from a couple in south Seattle and they told me about it too. I may get Facebook just for the group there. By the way, they had a really nice 1st Gen double cab with a four wheel pop up camper. I was very Jelly. It’s freakin cool you’re doin a lot of this stuff on your own too.

I completely understand. I prefer to stay off of facebook but it has its uses. The group is a great bunch of people who are very supportive and helpful. Many of them have nicely built rigs. Most people have "PNW Tundra" decals all over their trucks. I am currently designing a custom set of skids for one lady with a ProComp lift and OEM Sway Bar.
If you do decide to join the group let me know. The group has grown a lot lately so it is nice to know that I know someone joining.

@InTheRough sounds good man! I agree, social media has its uses. Sounds weird, I kinda like to brag a little bit that I don’t have social media. My friends always laugh at me though...whatever! If you don’t mind posting a link to the stickers, I’d totally throw a PNW tundras sticker on the truck to show the support.

I totally agree. I have a Facebook just to keep connected with friends and family but have no other social media. I do have a few friends that have completely disconnected.

Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. I was in the shop building some skids for a friend with a ProComp lift. There should actually be 4 bungs; 2x Air/Fuel sensors & 2x Heated O2 sensors. Each side has one of each; Air/Fuel sensor is just before the Cat/Cat delete and Heated O2 sensor is just after the Cat/Cat delete. Hopefully you found the last one while waiting. If you only found three maybe they made a mistake? If it makes any difference my bungs were so far away the wiring barely reached... and that was stretching it.

    Skid mentioned above:
