looooooong time TW member looking to upgrade. THe family is getting bigger and I'm lurking around to step into the big boys club. Been spending lots of time at the dealer trying to determine which model is right for me. Lots of off-roading to do in Arizona. I'm leaning to the platinum side and doing the "usual suspects" modifications. If this forum is anything like the last 7 years I've spent on TW...then I'm gonna have a good time!!! Looking forward to venturing into unknown territory and learning a lot from the group.

    Thanks
    (Still in 16 TRD off-road Tacoma....for now)

I'm hoping I feel the same way when I pick up my tundra. I have a bit of research to do to determine which model...but I have made my mind up to upgrade

It was hard for me to let the Taco go but then the extra power and room helped me get over it lol.

    Welcome!
I would say this forums is growing and is getting there! TW has a ton of traffic for sure!
Definitely look into plantinum or limited and upgrade from there. Or save some moolah go with the basics and Sr5 Trd or and wild out with the savings..
1794's are nice is that in consideration? Or too much?

Welcome from CO! Once you have the power of the V8, (5.7) you won't want to go back to the Tacoma- ever.

    Thank you sir.

    Thanks

I'll be in vegas soon enough. I'll look you guys up when I'm on my way to see if you got anything going on.

I'm looking to upgrade the platinum. I'm doing some research on the big differences between that one and the Pro model.

    Thanks boss

    Just what I'm looking for!!!

I'm getting excited to move up.

    Thanks boss

    Lol

Thanks. The wife and I will be moving back home to Colorado when i finish my doctorate.

    Thanks boss

    Thanks!

    Haha

I agree. Light off-roading. I'm getting the platinum new for 41,500. So it's about 7-8k off what they are asking for the pro.

    I can't wait!!!
