Debating on trading my rig in on a 2021 TRD pro MGM? Priced pretty well before discussion has started. I’ve always wanted a TRD pro but can’t decide if it is worth it or not considering what I have built.

    mine is a 2018 SR5 28,500 on the dial

    List of mods:
    Toytec boss front and rear
    SPC UCA
    RCI front Skid plate
    SCS ray 10/285 ridge grappler
    Tint
    Audio upgrades

Don't really see any advantage in trading in what you have for a Pro other then the Pro name..Your truck looks great an has nice stuff an it's more or less new.. The pro is really nothing all that impressive...IMO but if your going to drive yourself nuts thinking about having a Pro then go for it.

I test drove a PRO for the first time 2 weeks ago and did not really feel like it drove much better than mine honestly. It’s a couple of the other amenities I did appreciate about it like the leather and dual climate control.

Your current truck OP looks outstanding. I’d pass on the Pro. But understand the itch.

You’ll likely never get better value of your used truck than you will right now. If it’s something that’s going to eat at you, do it.

Personally, given what you’ve done to yours I wouldn’t, but it’s your money.

This! I went through the same debate a while back, I figured my Tundra is configured just how I like it, it’s in great shape and has no issues - why risk trading a truck you know for an unknown?

Personally I wouldn't do it. I think you have a pretty sweet rig as it sits. But if you do decide to give into the itch, will you be pulling off the mods you made or keep them on? Ray 10's, Skids, Pioneer HU, speakers, amp? Those are some nice upgrades, IMO better than what you would get on the PRO.

Don't do it! You can add anything to yours that the pro has, even better aftermarket suspension. Your truck looks awesome..

You could drop 2-3k on a pro suspension, if that's what you really want, and still be way ahead of the game...just in TTL alone.

Looking at your list of mods, I'd say you'll be going backwards by buying a new TRD Pro. If you want leather, just add aftermarket leather covers. If you truck was 10 years old, I might consider it...but you're really not gaining anything other than resetting the mileage.

Well I went and test drove it. Was nice, but not overly impressed. I was offered a respectable trade in value for my rig along with keeping my current wheels and tires, but didn’t negotiate any further. I’m with the majority, Can’t justify making the switch.

IMO, your grill is better and you don't have the silly hood bulge. Walk away and feel good about it!

For sure. Not hating on the TRD pro by no means so I hope no one takes this the wrong way, but I feel like my toytec Boss suspension rides just as good for the majority of the driving I’d do which would be on the road. Oh, and mine drove straighter. Both 21’ pros I drove slightly pulled to the right. One had 10 miles on it and the pro today had 14 miles on it.

Beautiful truck you already have there.

I would keep your current truck, and then wait until the new redesigned Tundras come out and wait for the new Pro model.
