Yeah, they use to be a 2 piece design. Now they are one long big ass piece of welded steel per side. They should be fun to install today by myself with no jack....lol

Nice. Let us know how it goes. Are they bolt on? No drilling, or moving the gas tank?

I’m between these and the sliders from CBI.

Just did my cover and it’s perfect! Make sure the rails is sitting 1/4” below the level of the bed. It create a tighter seal for the rubber on the edge of the cover.

Mostly bolt on. You have the option of drilling 4 more holes if you want to for added strength. No moving gas tank because they include 2 nut sticks (they're words, not mine....lol) to help for threading the bolts that are closest to the tank.
I was torn too between C4 and CBI, but went C4 from previous experience with their hybrid front bumper I had on my 19 Pro. Caleb's welds are top notch. I also have their overland front bumper coming to me soon. So figured I'd stay consistent on brand representation.

Do you have an image of said "nut sticks" by chance? I never did install my rearmost bold for my RCI sliders because I didn't want to drop the tank. I've not put them to use as sliders, so it's not a big deal, but I would certainly like to get it all rigged up proper.

20201206_113755.jpg 20201205_170712.jpg Installed the new head unit. It already seems like it has more power than the OEM radio. Now if I can just get my Anytime camera kit figured out. Once that is fixed I will move to the amp and door speaker install. I'm also waiting for the USB retention cable to arrive.

    Thank you.

Looks like I just need to get creative with an open wrench to hold the bolt in place. Not in a huge rush, as I have to take the driver side slider off anyway. A couple points on it didn't get a good liner coat and have rusted. The shop that lined it is awesome and will fix it, but I gotta remove the slider first. :pout:

For the 4x4 knob, does the whole silver piece really have to come off in order to get the piece off? It's the only piece I haven't swapped yet, I thought I can live with it but that being the only chrome left is bothering me.

Not sure if they changed it for 2020+ but I didn't have to take it out for my 14. There's a small opening in the silver trim when you take the part under the radio out, you just need a flat head/allen wrench and you can pop out the wire harness. AJT has a video on it on their website.

While it is probably tons easier to take off the center bezel, there is a way to leave it in place (I have done both methods). It would require that the climate controls be removed to uncover the “access slot/hole” used to access the snaps of the 4wheel selector knob inside the center bezel. There is a write up on here and a couple of YouTube videos.

I'll try it and see if I can reach behind it. I did have to remove the climate controls again after I put everything back because my hazard lights button was sticking out. Didn't realized that behind it has a "clip" that keeps it in place. My Pro grille from McAuto just got delivered as well.

Just finished up the C4 slider install. Driver side was a PITA, passenger side was a piece of cake. Was gonna powder coat them, but they wouldn't fit in my buddy's oven. So he recommended Bullet Liner. Turned out great and I think it will be more durable for those large mall speed humps
