VLED interior kit - 5000 v 5500

Want to get the interior light kit but debating between 5000 v 5500 leds.

Thinking the 5000 may blend nicer with 1794 interior, but not sure if I should get 5500 to match exterior led conversion.

Thoughts? Or better yet, pics of VLED installs?

 

I love the 5500. The lower the number generally the more yellow the light. I went with 5500 and it’s more of a cool white. It’s just preference I guess.

 

I updated my interior lights with VLEDS and it’s one of the best mods I’ve done. I first bought the 5k but the light looked too much like a spotlight, if that’s makes any sense. VLEDS was great to work with and I switched out to 5.5k. Just enough brightness without being blinding. The light color looks great with the 1794 leather.

Here is the 5500 floor kit in my sequoia TRD pro. No regrets. I did 6 in the dome lights though and can’t tell the diff

I put VLEDs throughout my entire truck but i guess i only have these pics. I went with 5k because as it goes higher in rating it starts to blue, and i wanted more of a true white. Output is impressive, especially when comparing to other companies LEDs. I will admit the vanity lights and the map lights are almost too bright though.

 

I just did 5500 in vanity, map and dome. I used the bigger 180 lumen bulbs in my map and dome. I only did this because I ordered the interior kit and forgot I don’t have lights on the bottom of my doors. This worked for me since I had 4 extra of those bulbs. Now I just stuck the regular 90 lumen bulbs in my license plate and the wife’s 4Runner license plate light. I’ll go take a picture in a couple minutes.

 

No color changing? Gotta have some mood mahn....
