    Hello guys!
I decided to go with 295/70/18 on my '18 Tundra Double Cab, with a 3" leveling kit.
The dilema is which brand and model tires should I go with? I'm debating between Nitto, BF Goodridge and Toyo.
I'm in Cleveland, OH and I'm not planning to do off road and other crazy stuff; this is just to change the look of the truck.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I loved my toyo AT2’s until I drove in wet conditions.

I can’t complain about the longevity or durability though. Coming up on 60k miles and have about 10k left.

I’m planning on going the cooper AT route next.

also, good call on the 295’s. I got 275/70’s in a 3/1 and wished I had gone bigger

I’d go with BFG All terrain tires especially up there in snow country if you want something more aggressive I’ve got Yokohama Geolander MTs and they do great in the snow also.

Plenty of tire discussions and reviews here- https://www.tundras.com/forums/wheels-tires.18/

One thing to note- depending on the manufacturer and tire, the weight of the tires can vary greatly. Some tires are considerable heavier than others which will impact performance and MPG. You may also want to pay attention to the tread warranty as some tires may have 50k to 80k warranty on the tread and others will have no warranty!

So, check tirerack and discount tire sites- you will be able to see tire weight, any warranty, price, reviews and everything you need to compare the potential choices. Tires for our trucks are expensive so it pays to do your research.

Lastly, check youtube and search for reviews for the tires you are considering. There are some really good long term reviews and comparisons of various brands.

Well, in the past I always ran BFG AT or MT. The last set of BFGs purchased on my 4runner were ok, but not like the BFG tires of years ago. So when it was time for tires on the Tundra I wanted something that was an AT but it had to be quiet and have excellent street manners, have beefy looks, had to be good in rain and snow and not one of the heaviest tires out there if there were lighter options. I also wanted something with at least a 50k mile treat warranty.

I looked at Nitto, Toyo, BFG, Michelin, Hankook and several others. I purchased Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLTs. 60k mile warranty, my size (275/70-18) are 3 peak M+S rated and they were fairly light weight and priced right. They look beefy but are quite docile and quiet on the street and offer all the traction I will need.

Cooper St MAXX. Arguably the most overlooked tire in their lineup, and the best performing.

2nd on the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLTs. 275/65R18 on SCS rims. Outstanding tire.
