I haven’t. Gets up and moves pretty much the same... feels a bit more responsive than the 2008 I had, but that could just be the fact I was close to 300k on that one.

Alright, ladies and gents,

Apologies if this question has already been asked/ answered but I skimmed through this forum and couldn't find it (I may have missed it though) So... I have a 2017 Tundra TRD Pro (stock suspension) and currently waiting for my C4 overland front bumper to be shipped so I can install it. I want to throw on BFG KO2s but debating on the size. I know that the 285/65/r18s will fit with no rubbing. Now, my question is will BFG KO2 295/70/r18s will fit without any rubbing? Obviously, the mud flaps will not be an issue since I am swapping out the bumper, but the front bumper will increase the weight along with the lights and winch and eventually a prinsu rack. Do y'all think that I can run 295/70/r18 without spacers or messing with the suspension? Has anyone run this sort of setup or knows someone who has? Thanks!

I didn't notice any difference at all with power. Speedo is about 5 mph off for me at 65 (not very scientific but my GF was driving her car in front of me and the speedo in her Jetta was at 70)

Not sure how soon you need them but all the places I tried said they didn't have then in stock. So I went with KM3s.

295/70 should fit with stock wheels. I believe @cctxquicksand is running an aftermarket bumper on stock suspension on 295/70s

 

My normal work commute consists of approximately 9 miles, and I usually catch about 75% of the green lights at the time of day I travel to work, if not more. The majority of the route has a speed limit of 45mph with a couple of 50mph spots, and there are 0 hills. Everything is flat. So essentially, it's about the optimum for gas mileage. My commute on the way home has more traffic, and I'll often see 2mpg less if not more.

That said, I did not use a calibrator on my truck, so this is just comparing the truck's mpg computer to what it was before I got the tires. It's unscientific. I appreciate your calculations, maybe the mpg hasn't dropped as much as I thought.

 

No power loss noticeable to me. If there is any, it must be negligible.

I did change the wheels, these are Stealth Custom Series Ray 10's in an 18x9 +25mm. I love the look and they are very functional in my opinion.

Just got a set of 295/70/R18 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws mounted up, looks WAY better than the stock Michelins. As expected, they rubbed on the front mudflaps so I removed them. I have about a pinky's width between the UCA and tire. I noticed some rub marks on the front sway bar at full lock in reverse also.

 

Ok, little confused here but seem to be reading a few consistencies

1) 295/70r/18 Falken Wildpeaks seem to be larger than Nittos in same size. Falken folks say there is a run on sway bar in full lock in reverse. Nitto folks say no rubbing if you remove the front mud flap

2) 285/70r/18 fit perfect with no rubbing but you’re limited to basically Nitto as Falken doesn’t make this size (to save money or to get snow rated size)

3) 285/75r/18. What is the benefit here? The prices are as much if not more than 295/70. That ratio seems to cost some money.

I can’t decide. Loved my ridge grapplers on my Titan but want more wet performance and I think the Wildpeaks will do that.
