Im currently running the Toytec Boss 3/1 with Camburg UCAs on 305/55/20
    20x9 +1
I get a little rub at full lock in reverse.

I don’t think the alignment was moved as far forward as it could be.

I plan on adding two coachbuilder shims to get it up another inch.
Also, plan on doing a BMC.

Going to go with a 35x12.5

Can I stick with the +1 offset or am I pushing it with these wheels?

    Alot of them
My local shop told me 35's won't fit with my +1's and that I would need more trimming than the BMC.

Im not sure about 35's with that setup. I'm about to mount 295/60r20's on mine after running 305/55's. The new tires measure 1 inch taller than the old and an inch narrower.
I've got the wheels pushed as far forward in the wheel well as possible with alignment and got a little rub at full lock in reverse on the liners with them pushed forward.
I'm going to shim the front bumper forward and I believe I will clear the body mount by around 1/4 to 1/2" based off measurements at full lock.
No way an inch taller and wider would fit

Looks like I’m in the market for some wheels.

    It’s so crazy.

    I’ve seen +12 to +25 and -18 works well.

This wheel thing is stumping me more than anything.

    I have 295 70 18s with 0 offset and I’m fine. 35s require the cab mount chop.

I planned on doing a CMC but these +1s seem like the worst offset for the tundra and 35s.

The lower you go the worse it gets my friend. I believe you will be fine after you chop the cab mount. I wouldn’t buy new wheels till you did it anyway. The only spot I could see them rubbing else where would be the front bumper but even then that would be an easy fix and I don’t think it will. UCAs and another alignment would move them forward

I'm running a 3/1 leveling kit with 0 offset on 35 x 12.50 x 18. Did a body mount chop and was still slightly rubbing. I ended up getting SPC adjustable UCAs to move my wheels a tad bit forward to stop it from rubbing. All is good now!

I think you will be fine if you do the cab mount chop.. my concern would be the front bumper which someone else also mentioned.. I am running 37s on +25 wheels and just test fit 37s on my buddy’s truck with +0 offset. We are both running Fox 2.5 coilovers so +3 maybe +3.5 on a good day.

My wife is running 35s with no BMC on her Sequoia (295/70r18) and has the Toytech Eibach coilovers which are only +3. I say do it, and then figure out the chop and caster alignments last to make sure you are good front and rear.

    Thanks guys! Good info.

I have Camburg UCAs, but they’re not adjustable.
When I put on the 305/55 the guy said my caster was all the way forward.
He was a Toyota tech. I think he was attempting to work off OEM numbers.
I’ll be taking these next tires to a guy with tundra and 35s experience.

I may be just trying to give myself a reason for new wheels.

Go to an actual tire and alignment shop I bet they can get it good for you I never take my stuff to Toyota or techs from Toyota when it comes to alignment. I’ve always had great luck with my local perfection tire the owner is a Toyota guru.

Toyota tech was definitely keeping everything in spec, Camburgs are a little more difficult to get the adjustments that you want, and I believe have a ton of prebuilt caster. Definitely check out front bumper shims from Coachbuilder, they may be needed as you are likely very far forward already.

I have a 3/2 with +1 offset wheels. When I switched from 33’s to 35’s I had slight rubbing at full turn. BMC fixed it.

I'm on stock pro suspension so it's a +2 in the front. I have 18x9+0 with 295/70 (34.3) KM3s I had to move the front fender liners into the bumper and slightly trimmed it. I do need a small CMC. since you'll be +2 inches higher then I assume you'll be able to fit 35s with an cmc.

    Damn that’s tight!
    I like that stuffed look.
    Looks good!

I may opt out of the shims if I can fit with just a CMC.

Thanks man! I went with the 295/70 hoping I didn't have to do a cmc but that's my luck lol otherwise my plan was 35x12.5 with a cmc, then I would do shims if I needed.

I’m running 18x9 -12 offset with 35x12.5. 3 inch BDS suspension lift which uses Fox 2.5 Factory Coilovers with external res. and has DSC. BDS UCA. Did the BMC/CMC and removed the bottom portion of the liners on the front bumper end caps. No rub on full lock forward. Slight rub sometimes, but not always while reversing and turning.D58BF44B-6642-4350-B52F-786B8C685BE3.jpgB0CE3548-434C-4475-A9E9-28197E0F328E.jpg EAD7EEA0-3FCF-44F9-AF70-E56C699DCD05.jpg

Looks like -12 and +12 stick out close to the same amount.

Do you have a pic showing how much they stick out?

+12 will not stick out as much as -12

unless the back spacing is somewhere similar. Also depends on the wheel. I have Fuel Shok’s

+18 or +25 seems like the sweet spot for Tundra mid travel trucks.
