Music helps, but I can only really do it on nights. SUPER glad I'm not on nights, cuz I am dying on days right now.

 

I had some background music going all day in Monday while I worked a big project. Sometimes I need it, other times not so much.

 

I waffle between lyrics or not, but I can usually enjoy music of some kind. Music just isn't conducive to my work during the days. Too much going on and I have to be able to hear people.

 

I can't work without music.

Relaxing is on the agenda. I'm taking all my extra time today as comp time, so I'll only be on the clock for a few hours today...one meeting I have to attend.

Of course, I couldn't sleep in this morning so now I'm just lying in bed.

 

And it will probably be a meeting that should have been an email instead.

I wanted to sleep in, and could have, but my damn alarm clock said it was time for work.

 

Today is my Friday. Can't wait for this Month/Year to be over. Looking at a reorg in January and have no idea what the other side of it looks like.

I am so tired that my joints hurt. Not even sure how that works, but that's what's going on.

 

I had that David Lee Roth "The Clock is Slooooow" phrase stuck in my head today. Thankfully I was able to coast over the finish line and shut down right on schedule.

Pretty sure I could go right back to sleep if I just tilted my head back a little and closed my eyes.

Yeah, so do we. WA is mandating take-out only right now, but I’m good with that. As nice as it is to have someone wait on you and not have dishes, I do like eating while watching my own TV.

 

We can dine in or do take out here. Not much changed in that regard for us, but some places are running different hours or days of the week. I've upped my tips to help out those in an unstable job market, but I've always believed in tipping well. You get better service as a regular, and it's not easy work.

 

Crazy busy day. Phone recorded 14k steps and that doesn’t include a few hours of washing the truck and dorking around in the garage. But can I sleep? Nope
