Should I upgrade my front sway bar on a 2020 TRD PRO to the TRD Sway Bar? Have a Fox TRD PRO Lift Kit (1.5" Front / 1" Rear) w/ Terra Hunter X/T 35x12.5 tires. Looks great but I don’t care for the feel while driving. Any suggestions?

Do you have the rear sway bar?

I do not have rear sway bar. I heard it is not recommended with the TRD Pro suspension. Plus I read where it doesn’t help as much as upgrading front sway bar.

Ah... then I'm going to bow out since my knowledge doesn't seem relevant.
From what I know, the rear sway bar makes a significant difference from no sway bar. Your truck has an existing sway bar and the TRD one is just better and limits body roll a little more. Most agree you can feel a difference when upgrading the front but its minimal so most don't think it's worth the money (many still do it) but just about everyone agrees that the rear TRD bar is worth it.

Hopefully others with knowledge on your suspension will chime in.

Robert - thanks for feedback. I’m not opposed to adding rear sway bar. May give it a try as well for sure as I don’t do much off roading.

Depends on how you use your truck.
Sway bars increase stability and reduce body roll when cornering etc on pavement. They also reduce articulation when driving off road. If you seriously off road you’re better off removing your front sway bars instead of upgrading them

I can’t comment on your exact set up. But I can say that the rear sway bar made driving/cornering on my ride (leveling kit) much improved. There was a tighter and more controlled feel. Coming from a M5 Competition this was a needed addition. I ended up doing the front also with slight improvement. The rear made the most perceptive change in handling.

I did the rear sway bar a few years back and was pleased with the upgrade.
I added the front TRD sway bar a few months back and noticed how the truck just felt more planted and stiffer.
I tow a 28' travel trailer and the big difference was how the rebound on a dip in the road felt much faster than before.
    Very happy with the results.

As @gosolo said, it all depends on how you will be using your truck. I have a 17 Pro, with both the front and rear sway bars removed. My truck was mall crawler for the first 2 months with the stock suspensions and both sway bars on. While the cornering was great on pavement, the sway bars became a limitation with an upgraded suspension.

It seems significant, especially since the pro is engineered for off road prowess. Most people don’t really care, past the bed stamps though.
