That's my 9 year old son's shotgun. He wants to use my 45-70 but I told him he will have to wait a few years.

Didn't know if you were in a shotgun-only area. I know there's a lot of those in the midwest. I used to hunt in the Nicolet NF up in northern WI and luckily up there we could use rifle. A lot of the state south of there was shotgun/handgun only.

 

We can only use shotgun and straight wall cartridge.

 

That 45-70 will put a hurt on pretty much anything. I know a few guys that elk hunt with them (we hunt in some pretty brushy areas).

 

Yes they do. He doesn't realize it kicks in both ends. Lol

I don't want my good mailbox screwed up from the Ohio salt. Here's my good weather one sprayed with candy base coat clear coat.
