2020 blacked out Tundra sport crew max , blacked out
Hi Guys, sold my 99 4runner that i had since well ...99, hard but had to do it, needed something with some more power to haul around our travel trailer, so I bought a 2020 tundra sport crew max, white and blacked out. Awesome truck.

    Couple of quick questions:

    1. Thinking about getting winter tires , I live in Canada, lots of snow, any recommendations, or even a good all year round tire (all season), i have stock tires but was thinking about adding a lift, now sure if thats a good idea or if anyone has thoughts on this. Ideally it would be great if I could get bigger tires, lift the front end a bit without compromising the hauling and use a tire all year round but not sure if thats possible...?

    2. rim recommendations ?

    3. Thoughts and experiences on leitner rack systems and or the soft toppers?

Welcome aboard! I'm up in northern Alberta and I run dedicated winter tires, studded Nokian Hakkepellitas. My summer tires are Cooper ST Maxx. I'm super happy with both sets.

Depending on your local climate, a good all terrain with the snowflake rating may work well for you year round. I'd take a close look at the Cooper AT3 XLT. I'm pretty sure they have the snowflake. I've also heard good things about the Falken Wildpeaks. I'm personally not a fan of the BFG all terrains or the Goodyear Duratracs, but others seems to like them.

Hope that helps some on the tire front :)

I am from Northern Alberta and echo Outbounds opinions on the Nokians, I also run and love them, and 100% support the thumbs down on BFG AT KO2, have been totally disappointed by them since day 1. Duratracs are fine in sand and loose material but wear very uneven, very fast and freeze hard in winter.
