    What's the biggest spare tire I can fit in its stock location (2006 DC)?

    My spare tire is probably the original and I'd like to get it replaced. I'm currently riding on a 34" tire. I don't think I can get a 34" to fit so what's the MAX tire I can stuff under the bed?

    My 285/75/17 spare fits in the stock location. Snug but it fits. A bfh can also give some clearance.

    I dumped my exhaust before my axle. I won't have that issue.

    Smart call. A lot of people never think of this. When I bought by truck in 2016 it had the original spare from 2002. Last year when I bought 285/70/17's I bought 5 and it fits under there just fine.
