My go to is Knob Creek. If upping the ante, Russell’s 10 year. For those Jamison fans (and I’m one) try the Caskmates, the Stout edition redefines smooth.

Is it smoother than Black Barrel? That is hard to imagine the BB is so smooth.

Had a pour of some blantons at a bar here. The bartender made sure to tell me I wouldn’t be able to get it though cause it was a private label for the Malibu Cafe that Blantons did I guess. Lame. Tasted pretty different though and I did like it

Agreed...but KC and OF picks are still my favorite. I wish places did more picks atound here. Some barrels turn out so damn good and they will probably never make it up this way.

I can't flip through 45 pages yet since I'm "working" - I'm sure others have mentioned but Eagle Rare is my go-to, especially at it's price point.

So many people have such good things to say about these two, KC and OF I will have to try them again. My only experience with OF was their entry level 86 proof stuff, really didn't like it but I hear the 1920 is the best. KC was a few years ago, so I suppose I should refresh myself.

Picked up some gifts and a couple for me. Tried the Ben Milam last night and the Rare Breed today. Both are very good.

Yeah the KC 120pf picks are fantastic. The OF SiB picks are usually only 95pf, but I think they are starting to do 100pf now. The 1910 and 1920 are the best. My favorite is the 95pf Statesman. Dont know why. But I think its fantastic.

I'd def try to get a pour before you buy it if you can. I've yet to hear anyone that actually likes it. Bottle is cool though.

Tried the 2020 release of Lot B. Didn't disappoint. Batch in downtown Tucson has roughly 500 bottles and they serve donuts on the weekends.

Agreed! Those two barrel picks in the photo are some of my favorite all time barrel picks. I also got lucky and came across a sale on Statesman recently and got a bottle for $30. I already had a bottle at home but couldn’t pass up that price.

WOW, this is one awesome thread.....what could be better than sitting in your Tundra after doing a mod or two (or maybe none) or finishing a little detailing or maybe just looking at your ride and being happy with a glass of whiskey!
