    Lightened up a bit with sand and polish. Not perfect but will hold over until I decide what headlights I want so they can match.

    Boy do I wish I had a set of those ABS sensor guards for the tacoma, probably replaced 4 or 5 sensors.
    A good idea would be to keep them clean as well. I found for whatever reason when mud (clay) would get stuck between the sensor and rotor shield, the sensors would crumble apart. I assume its from the heat transfer from the brakes or maybe a different plastic type.
    Either way this is a good idea considering something as minor as long grass or ice floating in a puddle could wreck them. Definitely on my list of to do's.

    Have had the truck for about 6 weeks or so, have done the interior and engine bay - so decided to wash it today. Pretty sure its not been waxed as once I got water on it there was zero beading and the surface had some roughness to it. Ended up:
    * wash n dry
    * clay barred the entire surface
    * full hand wax with the stuff I use on the Vette
    Now all the surfaces are ultra clean and smooth as glass. Pics don't do it justice...

    Is your truck not lifted or your wife that tall? Top of her head almost to your roof. I can barely see my wife's head over the hood LOL!

    Hahaha.....never hurts to have a couple of sharp looking Tundra twins, I'm sure they'll look good at the marina. Read your stereo write-up, sounds like you're quite pleased with it. Definitely looking forward to hearing it. :thumbsup:

    Definitely....providing the boat tunes aren't on. Crank that up and it sounds like a concert in progress - especially with the hook dropped in one of the coves.....a personal amphitheater. And she's a small boat, only 40'...

    My mistake..."small boat" Small is what I'm used to. 40 footer is sending it when there's a stylin' sound coming out of the speakers. A cove, some beers, and a personal concert sounds like the prescription I've been in need of. Summer can't get here fast enough now!

    :amen::amen::amen: Less than one month till splash time. Though admittedly, on average it starts to get really good towards the end of May, early June. Last three mothers day's we've had plans for fun on the boat - and I've ended up pushing snow off it. Three years in a freaking row.

    Walking the doc to the slip last Mother's Day :(
    Mothers Day 2015 2.jpg
    Then yesterday, a couple of dock mates and I decided to "check on our slips" - code phrase for it's a bad ass day let's get together for beers and bbq before the marina opens - and this is where thing's are presently...:bananadance:

    Anybody have the bdx tuner. I'm having an issue. Pulled out of the driveway after tune, and no gas peddle except when in reverse????

    No, but that's gonna make it a strange drive to work in the morning.

    its like a 75 25 split instead of a 50 50 split for the air flow and you just move the knob to the dot. :notsure:
