Mia is too expensive, we're getting all the New yorkers who are fleeing a dying state filled with regulation. I'm in mia because its my home but I go to school here, I don't see myself staying after college

The less audible alerts, the better.
I would like a low profile screen mounted in front of the driver displaying the camera view of 3, 6 and 9. Link it to R and use it as your back up camera, and give it NV & Thermal modes.

    The jack sucks balls!
What would you replace it with?

The keep you in your lane warning is the biggest piece of shit I've ever had to fight... Who ever invented this must live in the middle of nowhere, because if you drive in L.A. and know how shitty people park, you're destined to rear end a parked car because the system fights you the entire way while trying to avoid it while bitching at you about someone being on your blindside... so I guess I'm walking from now on....

Well the wipers help in the rain ( doesn’t mean you can drive like an idiot just because you can see ). Headlights help to see at night ( doesn’t mean you can pay less attention just because you can see better ). BSM and RCPD helps for when something is there that you just can’t see ( doesn’t mean you don’t check your mirrors and do a shoulder check ). All of it is just to help not take the place of driving defensively that’s all .

Actually the Ram 1500 is built in Sterling Heights or Warren Michigan , the 2500’s are built in Mexico . I say or because both plants produce the new 1500’s .

I used a scissor jack that fits nicely in the “where do i put all my shit area” of rear seats. Yeah. Another poorly thought out storage area.

I understand this and concur with your insight However, if they are going to pursue the technology to add the bsm, then why not do it right? The RCTA has the beeping so its there. Why not offer it on bsm? Ive had alot of comments (and ribbing) from this post. Under no circumstances do I advocate ignoring the safety of actual looking. Ive still never used my backup monitor to back up. I still look over shoulder and use side mirrors but if their bsm can help to avoid just one accident then... well its worth it.

My Tundra didn't come with a built in ice chest to keep my beer cold! I need one with a warning light and audible alert to let me know when the beer temp starts to go warm! I can go without the fancy mirrors, nobody is fast enough to pass me when I'm getting my cold beer home.

    What were they thinking?

I actually turned the brightness down of the BSM indicator (center menu options). I just bought the jack mentioned on the first page of comments. Looked solid, good reviews, decent price, and multi-purposed. Could use it for other around the house stuff. Would have helped lift the bitch of a skid plate into place, that's for sure.

My first car could have been considered a death trap by some. Had no seat belts, no working gauges(not even fuel gauge), the front windshield was in the back seat, and the turn signals didn't work. I used hand signals to turn, it was always funny when people behind me thought I was waving and they waved back at me.

I never crashed in that car.

I know how to use it, but don't. Around here, a turn signal just alerts the cars around you to where you need to be, and the bastards will speed up to purposely block you from changing lanes. It's like letting someone in front of them will make their dick shrink even more or something.

Utah is terrible with this. Using a blinker is actually an indicator you want to race. I grew up in Texas, and don't remember it being that bad, but it has been a few years since I have been back, and driving around here has really deteriorated quickly so I imagine the same back home.

To be fair to Texans, I'm in an area with a high number of transplants from all over. I don't notice it once I get out of the heavily populated areas.

And there are a ton of transplants here too (like me). Lots from the west coast.
