Toyota of Kirkland (WA) forgot my Tacoma's skid plate. I noticed it later and called them and they said no they always put it back. I was mad and drove over and asked to talk to the manager ... The guy came back and said sorry they found it against the wall and must be mine.
That was many years ago and they also forgot to lube the drivetrain couple of times Even though I asked and was part of oil change so I never went back to that dealership or bought any cars from them.

Find out if your car came with skid plate and go to the last place you changed your oil then try dealer. The problem is it could have happened a year ago and hard to track down.

I had no problem fitting it with any modifications. I do not understand either why they say it would not fit on there site but I decided to take the risk.

I was hit on the front end in my Tacoma with the TRD skid, and without question, reduced the damage to my vehicle based on how I was hit (girl ran a red light). I'm a believer in good skids. Worth the cost for sure.

No I have the billstein 6112 at the highest setting. Did not have to modify anything after the lift besides adding a small pice of foam on the rear bolts of the skid area due to rubbing when at full lock when reversing out of drive way.

I have a 2017 Tundra Pro. I love that truck but realized they replaced my original actual skid plate because of engineering issues with a big peice of plastic. The dealer I purchased it from is in Western Colorado and they are good people. Early service was done by Stevenson East off Havana in Aurora, CO. There were issues with the skid plate and Stevenson handled them all. Toyota America ended up paying for the problem. Now I have a plastic sled instead of a skid plate. I should have done a better job of checking on this. My kids were 3 and 2 when I bought this truck so we didn't get it off road as much as we should have. Anyway. Make sure you check Stevenson and Toyota America. And I have a good looking 2017 Pro for sale.
