Pulling a particular fuse or relay? Just curious if someone has a “best” option or I’ll dig into the relay box myself later. I just had ceramic tint done and picked it up last night. The dry time is much longer for ceramic I’m told. 10 days recommended instead of 2-3 days. Because of that I’m concerned I’ll forget.

I have tape over them now but, seems painters tape I could push through if I’m not thinking or on auto pilot.

Why not just use the window lock button?

That doesn’t lock the drivers side, correct? Or does it lock them all? I’m more worried I’ll forget, not the passengers and I did lock those. I assume the master switch still works.

We have other vehicles. It’ll probably just be off limits for the most part. I had pulled the main window relay on my wife’s car in the past so that seems like the way to go.

LOL, that is correct, window lock only locks the passenger side and back windows not the driver side...

Yep, unless you add Autoloc modules like I did, then the lock doesn't work on any of them.

I don't wanna be "that guy", but this is probably the best way to go. Pulling a fuse or really disabling them could be a potential safety issue....ya never know.

When my tint was done they had a piece of hard plastic taped over the buttons with the date of installation on it. Tape a piece of cardboard or plastic over the switches so you can't hit them, but when it's time you just pull up the tape and call it a day.

LOL not true! The adhesive on ceramic film is really no different than a standard dyed film.

Couple of days and you'll be fine. Honestly the way I install, and most others, you can roll them down in an hour and be fine. (although I never recommend this to customers)
