Makes sense to me. 3rd gen guys/gals don’t turn wrenches like many of us here so I understand why they don’t get what many of us are saying.

That's a lot of tools. I have corded versions of most (but Dewalt) so it feels weird dropping 6 c-notes on the bundle. Having all of it together in one central place would be nice though. That's the one thing I need to work on: Tool storage.

I'm offended and will report you as being racist against a group of people (3rd Gen owners). Some of us do turn wrenches, we just don't have to as much cause our trucks don't break as much. :crapstorm:

And, before you give me shit, I'm allowed to post here cause I'm an OG 1st Gen owner, had it for 20 years. :D

You are the rare exception. You are welcome here by my book. Not that it matters to you, or anyone else.

Edit: they also have a sale going on about generators also.

I think I saw a 10,000 watt duel fuel for 899. Electric start?

I didn’t say all of you guys, just most. I guess you’re correct about stuff breaking since our trucks are 14-20 years old but we all here become very familiar with every nut and bolt on our trucks.

I was told to "Go back to Mexico" today by a jackass who rolled a stop sign and almost hit my sweet Tundra. Born and raised in the good ole US of A, I've been to Mexico a few times but I'm not from there. I forgive the ignoramus, to him all brown people speak "Mexican". Pobrecito.

If I remember correctly, between the Louisiana purchase and Spanish war is how Merica expanded across the west. Many Mexicans can trace their roots back hundreds of years to places like Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico and keep going. So when someone says go back to Mexico, should the answer be “I was here before you” or “Go back to Europe”

From a disagreement over where Texas Southern border ends, much of Western US was purchased from Mexico in a kind of ransom. US soldiers stormed Mexico City and made it so by 1850. When my brother in law swears San Diego has better tacos than LA because they're closer to Mexico, I shake my head.

Back to the turd gen guys, there are a few good ones. The two AZ guys are cool enough, they just bought the wrong trucks.

A Taco Bell just opened last week down the street from me, how lucky am I? That easily saves me a 6 hour round trip to Mexico! :hungry:

Made up some aluminum brackets for my hidden light pods. Didn't really have measurements because it was a last minute after thought. Kinda just went with my gut on size.

We'll see if they actually work/fit or not.

@hoopytrix you are a funny guy. I remember your post back in March about being born the wrong color complaining about people browner than you, yet you have a damn fine tan! I think you were using double end around triple reverse technique?

@Lil Steve I’ve been all over Mexico/Centro America and been welcomed very nicely in most places. I’ve also been told ‘go home’. Been harassed multiple times by the Federales down there (maybe they should be defunded?). Just shake it off and move on. Good job you did on the forgiving part.

I could pick on Puerto Ricans and call them the most racist in the world after much time there.Never did share my latest story of a PR Woman hurling racist epithets after being triggered by a recent flurry propaganda from fake ___(I’ll post that story later because it deserves its own time).

Or, maybe I could pick on Black American People yelling ‘get that white boy’ from the sidelines on the Little League Football Field. :rofl:Maybe I could pick on my neighbor mixed race couple from California that says ‘Fantasy Island Blacks’ are ‘ratchet’.

Point is: Racism happens everywhere from all colors. I could rattle off so many more stories. Oh wait, the time I was almost killed for being in the wrong place in Barbados. I’m tired of this mantra beat coming from fake ___, about division along color lines and how evil America was founded, which I think is what is stirring a lot of this. Somehow every white person in America is suppose to apologize for stuff in the past? Stuff that still goes on in other parts of the world to this day? Who cares what color you are? I don’t.

    @Darkness @Hooptytrix

Pre-Euro Mex was a conglomeration of various ‘Indian’ tribes and nations which I believe was founded by UFO’s who built the Mayan pyramids. The those damn Spaniard Conquistadores (Euro) came along claimed Mex as theirs. Research Castilian Class and you’ll see why many in government and Univision TV in Mex are pale skin light eyes. Dark skin is frowned upon the higher in class. Yeah the US took in Texas, but Texas (Spaniards) took it from ‘Mex’ first. Many ‘Mexicans‘ were loyal to Texas before entry into the US. I love Mexico and would move there except for the corrupt government and not being able to run a legit business from there due to being a US citizen. :monocle:

This is true, but for the invention of the taco, carne asada, and bringing along the secrets of al pastor, one could argue a fair trade.

I wish Merica could finally get past the race. I enjoyed my time on the road meeting different people and places, being raised in NYC we are kinda ignorant to the rest of the country cause we are the capital city (yup I said it) and the daily grind is 24/7. But the reality is there are a whole lot of places we aren’t welcome at all, and that goes for all colors, sex, race, religion and creed. That is unfortunate, wondering into some of these places can reveal all kinds of new things that you have never seen, tasted smelled or quite possibly even imagined. Celebrate our differences, it’s what made our country great

Had a really good talk with a neighbor today about current events. He stopped by in his 83 long bed Toyota P/U. Bob from New Yawk with heavy accent man. Retired Marine and top notch dude.

I remember the days going to the big junkyards over by Shea stadium, almost all of them had rusty, beat to hell Toyota’s that they use to drive around the junkyard. A Corolla full of tools and plasma cutters plus 2 or 3 guys and as bad as they were rusted out and crashed and just flat out beat to shit.... turn the key and they still go.

    Back to the propaganda.
After plenty of reading and research I’ve come to 2 conclusions.
1 The greatest weapon ever created was television which is at war with social media.
2 “We the people” is no more, we got sold out by our politicians many decades ago.

Currently out with the GF trying to save kittens from a drain pipe.

Looks like they were dropped off out here in the boonies. We are a common drop point for "unwanted" animals.

Any of you fellas got any advice for coaxing 5 week old kittens out from shelter?

We have tried food, and meowing ourselves.

The drain pipe is completely covered on one end of the road, and crushed by farm equipment on the exposed side. Opening is just big enough for them to slide into "shelter."
