Hi Everyone, I recently replaced the JBL Head Unit in my 2020 Pro w/ the Pioneer 8600 NEX 10.1' model and the Maestro RR.

I initially noticed a big improvement in volume and sound quality and took it a step further and upgraded the all four door speakers to Hertz k170. After listening to this for a few weeks, I've noticed the highs being very 'hissy' and distorted and not pleasant to listen to at all. I sold the stock JBL speakers already, so can't put those back in.

I'm not looking to replace the JBL amp until maybe next summer, but would like some decent audio in the mean time. Can anyone recommend a better set of speakers than these current Hertz k170 that I can use with this setup? Thanks in advance!

Off subject, but would you consider selling the hertz k170 if you decent to change them out for something else later?

Have you been on crutchfield.com and listen to different speakers? They have the speakers comparison and also sound comparison where you can switch back and forth between different one to see which one you like better.
People said the hertz are harsh for some. So they go with the Focal, warmer sounds. So maybe take a listen of the focal and see?
