I’ve owned my tundra for 6 months and just found this sticker in my door jamb. Huh, 7lbs lost in load capacity rating? What would cause this?

Not sure where you are getting 3000 lbs. I only see 7 lbs

Yup, I completely misread that. My neighbor was telling that Tundras had payload reductions around 3000lbs and assumed that when I saw this sticker. I knew somebody would explain this. Lol

Tundra doesn't even have 3000lbs of Payload capacity to loose. Your model year's payload is somewhere between 1340 to 1915 lbs; Towing is somewhere between 4000 to 10500lbs.

Do you have a port installed bedliner?
I remember hearing Toyota having issues with false load ratings due to port installed options.

Any added accessories like bed rails, liners, and even floor mats come out of your payload capacity. Same for all trucks.

I’m pretty sure that in Louisiana they include the weight of the mosquitoes stuck on the windshield

Live in Louisiana. Can confirm. They're still bad this time of year. Had to use bug spray today when pressure washing the house.

I have permanent bug guts on my truck that won't come out no matter what I try short of taking the paint off.

Niceeee!! A proper crawfish boil, pour the pot on the table and dig in! Those crawfish are a nice size too. Havent had crawfish since earlier this year, but ready for crawfish season to come back around.

I had a nice big bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo tonight, and made a chicken, sausage, and pork pastalaya earlier this week (its like jambalaya, but with pasta)
