I hope they keep the high ground clearance on the new Tundras.

The ground clearance on the real 3rd Gen Tundra truck should be at least as high as it's price.

They might consider it for fuel economy. Ever seen how low the front diffuser on a GM is?

They don't last long on our fleet trucks. Usually get torn off in the rocks/ruts.

    Good point!
The main reason I didn't buy a GM was how low to the ground it was. I live at the end of a half mile dirt road that is not plowed by the state & I live in an area that gets a lot of snow. Plus, the front of a GM just looks ugly imho.

It seems most manufacturers are trying to make their 1/2 tons look bigger and more filled out of which I'm not a fan.

Think we will be getting quite the opposite, ground clearance isn't the best for mileage

Design it with aftermarket and dealer installed OEM lift kits in mind, but deliver all of them sitting as low as practical to raise the MPG and lower the MSRP.

Gm and Ford both have those obnoxious air dam things on the front right under the bumper. Makes the truck about as low as a sedan

exactly, I'm not gonna keep the truck stock, there will be plenty of kits for whatever we desire, I'll wait a few years and watch all the bugs weed out though

Yea, tundras have the highest ground clearance out of all the 4wds Toyota sells. Even the most “off road worthy” landcruiser.

I heard they're going to discontinue the TRD Pro, and the special edition will be the TRD Slammed.

Always love how Tundras look with flares and lowered. Would never do it to mine but a reg cab 5.7 done up like this with a supercharger would be sweet.
