    Just ordered mine! Had a cheap one that didn’t last a couple days. Already have that curt connection so can’t wait to get it & plug & play. Before I used the 3M tape but didn’t last long. What do y’all suggest I use to last longer? Thanks

    I wonder if the reverse light brightness will hinder the backup camera? I've seen some that does that.

    Stumbled across this thread again.

    I wanted to share this with you.
    MICTUNING Triple Tailgate Light Bar Waterproof Plug-and-Play Aluminum Frame with 4-Way Flat Connector - Amber Sequential Turn Signal, Red Brake/Running, White Reverse Lights for Pickup Truck
    Link.

    This is a two bar rear light. I liked it a lot, but I had a few rocks left over in the tailgate area from a load.

    Opened the tailgate, rocks fell though the larger crack, and were smooshed into the right bar by the hinge action of the gate. It broke the circuit board underneath the rubberized waterproofing. There was no way to fix it.

    The hyperflash at the end of the clip is because I hadn't programmed my led compatible smart tap turn signal module.

    I ran the wires in such a way so that I could still use the tire hoist if needed.

    I just added the Alpha rex rears 3 weeks ago & noticed a hyper flash as well. The company is going to send me a resistor to help with that. When I installed the STL light bar I also notice the yellow light doesn’t blink all the way thru...could this be because of the issue of the hyper flash??

    I have this on my truck because its a 2002.

    I added this to eliminate the need for resistors. Anyways, this is programmable.

    Using the smart tap feature I can "Tap" the turn signal stalk one way or another and the turn signals will flash however many times I have it set to do so without actually latching the stalk into the "turning" position.

    Using the hazard lights features it can be programmed to the hyperflash that was seen in the video, regular speed hazards, and and something else that I can't remember.

    If I had my turn signal relay programmed to normal speed hazards the rear bar would have went all the way across during blinking.

    TL/DR: Added turn signal relay thats smart. Didn't program hazard light modes before video. Gave me the extra blinkys seen in hazard lights.

    Lol omg speaking Chinese..I’m just hoping the resistors they send me can resolve that issue. I haven’t tried uninstalling the tail light and trying it that way. I could do that if I have time this weekend. I also emailed company of STL & told them what it’s doing.

    Just don't cut any wires, you can return it.

    I would unplug 1 tail light and try the blinker on that side. If you have the original tail light plug it in or just the bulb.
    I believe that the resistor will work.

    Try disconnecting the aftermarket lights first. That should let you know if you need the resistor.
