Does the hoop interfere with you TSS Sensor?

 

Yes it does. I have a plan in the works. It didn't like silicone in front of it at the moment

 

I'm fixin to have the same issue I think.

 

Got it painted. Installing tomorrow if things go well.



Drilling holes for LP9s before paint

 

Little secret for everyone. If you ask to have the holes pre drilled for LP-9s or whatever, the magical elves will make it happen if you’re nice. Or so I heard.

 

Kind of an odd question, do you think once it's on you would still be able to pull the grill off with the hoop there?

 

Yes you can. If you watch any of the YouTube videos on how to remove the Tundra grille, it is just a few pop up fasteners, screws and some “this feels like it’s going to break” physical strength to pop it off. After you do it once or twice it’s easy.

 

I did not install my grill before I put the bumper on. I had ot remove the lowest/furthest out clips. No way you will get it on with those. No biggie, its still really firmly mounted. I can 'probably' get it off, but it will be a chore.

 

Do more than half an inch gap to the fenders if you wheel at all.... I rubbed through my band new powdercoat.

 

Done. Fuck. So many wires. Heavy ass bumper.

I asked and they said they couldn't. Guess I talked to the wrong elf.

 

So, if you do not install the grill prior to the bumper you cannot get the bottom clips on? I am going to install the C4 overland bumper in a couple weeks and it would be nice to remove the grill without taking the bumper off to do so.

 

Ordered the front, now to save for the rear bumper!
