Do people trade Chrome for Color match? =D

So.. Edit, can't post trade here... oops! I was wondering if anyone knows someone that has ever traded chrome stuff for color match stuff. If you happen to know anyone that enjoys chrome, send them my way!

What, are there not people that prefer the look of chrome vs color matched? lol... I don't know anything about my grill being a "crappy ass cheap" grill, but I'm pretty sure chrome wasn't cheap back in the day!

There's people on here who literally can't even give their chrome parts away so you're not likely to find someone willing to bedazzle their color matched truck with chrome.
Then again I've been proven wrong before.. that one time.. like fifteen years ago.

Do a search post for the 'bumpershellz' if you want a cheaper, quick, stick-on, color matched alternative. I was in the 'color match' bus with everyone else, hunted for a bit, and finally just started buying steel unpainted replacement bumper ends and plastic SR grill components to have painted by a local body shop because I live in the salt belt WICKED FAH UP NORTH and refuse to 3M tape parts onto my truck. You have options, they all require spending money though.

I don't mind spending the money, I just genuinely (and mistakenly) thought that someone might be interested in the trade. Ha... lesson learned. I think I'm just gonna wrap the thing. Thank you for the advice!

Do you have power folding mirrors? If yes, there are many people who may be willing to trade you for non-power folding tow mirrors that have no chrome.

That's a great idea. I don't care that much about my power mirrors. I would actually prefer those towing mirrors anyway. Thanks man!

Dont ever buy a GM truck, my work chevy’s transmission just grenaded yesterday at 3 years old and 73k miles of zero towing or hauling. Couldnt handle all that highway commuting and dirt right of way roads with my entire 120lbs in the drivers seat apparently.
But it got great gas mileage (sarcasm)

 

I love Chrome. I’m been looking for Chrome handles for my 2020 Silver truck for a while now. Each to his own.

You know... I was a bit surprised when I saw my average tank at 11.2mpg, and I have a light foot. Could be off cause of my lift and 35s? But OUCH. My 06 F150 was giving me 13 on a bad day!
