Saw a write up somewhere else and followed it. Turned out pretty nice, with a really clean install. I need to fiddle with it a little bit because the light is aimed too high right now.

It is a combo spot/flood. 180watt. Nothing too crazy, but for how often I will use it, it is plenty. Mainly be used when camping with some light duty off roading.

Update once I fiddled with aiming the light a little better. First pic is no light, second pic is with light. This sucker is bright!

I use a 38" bar from Amazon, works great and paid 154$ plus the cost of the harness. I'd recommend taking the bar apart and re-sealing with automotive windshield sealant. The cardboard looking gasket will wear quickly and let in moisture.

That thing is bright! Did your neighbors come running out in their bathrobes with their hands raised in the air when you turned this on lol.

This is a good idea. I at least would hit it with a bead of silicone around the housing for a little extra

I used silicone behind the glass and ends, still let in moisture. Driving in the rain with oncoming winds has some force to it, light still works though.

I used silicone on my Amazon 42" double row and all 4 duallys with no issues so far and we have a pretty gnarly Monsoon season down in the TUC. Might be the brand or just luck so far

Sadly, I have had this saved for years on my Photobucket account. We post some pretty messed up stuff on the off-roading FB page.
