Growing up in Mississippi and Louisiana we would always stop by the little fruit and vegetable stands on the side of the road and get a huge bag of boiled peanuts. Now I want boiled peanuts..... maybe next year. But for the menu this week I'm making chicken and sausage gumbo, then some pastalaya, its like jambalaya, but with pasta, and its to die for.

    You're drinking the wrong beer.

I enjoyed the 1987 Stanley Cup final between the Oilers and Flyers but modern hockey is nice because the players can actually skate and dangle.

The CFL isn't relevant to what, exactly? Providing entertainment to its millions of fans? It still does that.

    - I've tried a ton of beer from mass produced piss water to fine craft stuff. It all puts me to sleep and sits heavy in my stomach.

    - I miss the days of Bobby Orr, Wayne Gretzky and Bobby Probert. Them boys could skate, dangle and actually take a hit without need half a dozen games off.

    - The CFL is where guys who couldn't make the big time in the NFL end up playing. It's fun to watch but as a major sports league it's not a big player. College ball in the US draws bigger crowds than the Grey Cup. I haven't looked at the actual attendance numbers, but from the games I went to and the ones I watched on TV, fewer people are going to CFL games. Except the Roughriders. Those melon heads will die bleeding green, screaming about the 13th man. Bless their hearts. Lion Pride > Rider Nation. :D

Add: Lemon zest and Old Bay seasoning= GREAT. A pat of butter should go the distance.

Wait. Add this to the transmission cooler fluid and all this goes away? Tasty.

Yeah, those grow out on the east side, but I’ve never been a big cantaloupe fan. Honeydew, Casaba, Canary, some of the other exotic melons, but not cantaloupe.

You just have to make sure you ALWAYS keep it full of ice and beer, because I’m not sure that you’re going to get very good airflow around that cooler...

and @Black Wolf I don’t think I’ve ever heard of the high altitude fruit or corn... I do know I’ve heard good things about the Rocky Mountain High though!

I tried looking for that and couldn't find any info...

Landcruiser has the 8-AT transmission and 3.31 final drive ratio.

Toyota literature on this transmission advertises super tight lock up and super high efficiency. Translation: doubtful it has a air-to-oil cooler.

We have a fully loaded JL Rubicon. It works great. Engine and 8 speed are proven. The electronics on the other hand.... Time will tell, but I have high hopes. Anyways, the Jeep is on a 5yr rotation so it doesn't matter. The resale is so high on them I can trade in for good $$ and buy a new one for minimal cost.

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
I am going to go against the grain and agree with the OP on this. Toyota has made themself seem like massive clowns by doing this.

Sorry to hear it.. Was this an older Ram when they were "basic" or was this a new Ram with the great redesign looks and interior upgrades that now rival a Mercedes?

    I
It was a 17. . It wasn't a loaded truck. It was the sportsman package I think. . Hemi engine. . Thing is, there were so many things I loved about it. It drove amazing, handled like a car and would haul ass. Pulled extremely good also. . Just issue after issue though. . .not to mention the 6 or 7 recalls in the 2 years I had it. . And probably would have STILL kept it if it wasn't for the awful dodge dealerships in my area. . I mean literally NONE of them are worth a damn. . And if that wasn't enough, when I went to trade for the tundra, I found out what shifty resale actually meant. . I'll never do that to myself again.

A few thoughts. I recently bought a Tundra for towing because my 2018 RAM with a hemi sucked towing my 17 foot boat the engine was sluggish. I think they added to many gas saving gizmos to the HEMI.

I am happy with my Tundra and love the gear ratio for towing.

I have been trying to investigate the transmission overheating on my own.

So far a few things I discovered is if your Tundra's transmission truly overheats it sticks in first gear. I've yet to hear anyone that this has happened to.

Toyota WS fluid has a flashpoint of 446 degrees Fahrenheit.

At this point I am trusting Toyota Engineering.
