I fired my truck up for the first time in a week today just to knock the cob webs off. Rained 8” here in the last two days and prior to that I sat around watching my fresh new grass grow.

Some pics to share the joy.

See that long tie rod and the blue frame just behind it? Gotta pull some Street Fighter 2 and go Dhalsim mode to get my arm in front of the tie rod and over the frame. "Yoga flame!"
    20201114_175429.jpg

Then there's the little blue bastard, just below the frame and around the brake lines. The blurry thing at the bottom of the pic is the tie rod. Gotta go full Jedi and "feel" the part, you cannot see the part. I didn't get a pic from below but the drive shaft/sway bar/lower arm are in the way there, and from above you can get to it but you have to go behind the valve cover and have the power steering line right in your way.

just noticed we were in the what have you done thread, a sliger SM580 case. Asus x570-I mobo, 32 GB DDR4 3600. thats the stuff so far. CPU and power supply are needed before it can boot, but the case is made when ordered in America, so i wont see it till earliest late next week.

Going small form factor. Going to get 2 1TB NVME gen 2 drives and i have a 2 TB + a 500 GB 2.5" SSD im puttin in too... going to be the first PC ive had with literally no moving harddrives

Ive never seen a Silger case before, looks sick! I recently just upgraded to a nvme after having just a hard drive for about 7 years, and now I only want nvmes. Not having to run sata or power cables is so nice! Ive never been super into small cases as I have a o-11 dynamic but I definitely could use the room, Full mid and full towers take up so much room!

I’m condensing to a case that fits inside my current one, with much more power.

my laptop has a i7 6 core and a 1060 with a 256gb NVME. Things crazy fast for a laptop. Need to upgrade the NVME to a larger one though.

Quick update on the Addco rear sway bar: I highly suggest one.

Drove up to my favorite hiking spot yesterday now that the trail is open. (the summer fire engulfed the local mountain and closed everything for months) It is a very twisty road for 26 miles. The body roll is much less with the rear sway bar. Didn't seem to impede me at all when I went with Frenchy for some off road fun a few weeks back.

BTW: I freaking love this truck!

Awesome. Makes sense that keeping the opposite tire down would make for better off-roading. Kinda counter intuitive and flys against the anti anti sway bar crowd.

This comment peaked my interest. Can't seems to find out what you're actually talking about.. aftermarket coilovers in general or just fox? Something to do with the design is smashing the brake lines?!

Just Fox. They used a 16" coil and to make it fit the lower coil perch sits right on the lower eyelet where other manufacturers go about 2" above the eyelet. That lower perch can and will hit your brake lines where they come out of the caliper.

I replaced my lines and used Tacoma lines with banjo fittings, this way at least if it hits its hitting a bolt. Stock Tundra lines are thin metal tubing in that area and they puncture easily.

Can somebody post me a picture of their tailgate cables? I took mine off and put it back on today. When I go to close it the cables rotate up off the stud. The hell is going on?

I put it back exactly like I found it, I think. Idk if I’ve lost some washers or what

I would. I'm not a fan of the older ones. Or these depo tails are decent, but I think the stock later model ones are best. They should plug n play
