With my dollar off from Kroger's yesterday I filled up the tundra and gas cans at 94.9 cents a gallon so 35 gallons of gas for $33.22 was pretty nice.

That's obscene. We're paying 94.9 CAD per litre!

I used my 80 cents off per gallon at King Soopers (Kroger) last week. $1.27 per gallon. I do the receipt surveys and buy gift cards there for 4X fuel points.

$2.15 in Vancouver WA last week at Walmart. It went up from $2.11 last week. Seems to be they're playing that "how much can we start raising prices" game again.

$3.89 in the Bay Area. But I only use premium. So it’s not too bad. I’ve paid way worse here. I was paying close to $5 a gallon not too long ago. But I’m used to not caring about what I pay to drive my truck or GX. I have a company van that’s my daily so no big deal.

Refineries are switching over to winter blend which will raise prices when this occurs every fall.

We buy fuel gift cards and Lowe's, Amazon, then I use my Cabela's card so I can get the Cabela's points then when the bill comes I just pay it. Nothing like double dipping. Lol

Nothing. Nothing is wrong with any of them. I was just being silly saying they are all Canadian and all we have is cheap gas. Hahaha.

So when our government introduces private healthcare after saying they wouldn't, gas prices will go down, right?

I could have googled gas prices across the country but it's not as entertaining as watching where the comments go. So far we have Canadian celebrities and health care and whether Ben and Jerry's is any good.

I do remember when getting gassed up in Canada some of the pumps would have a pie chart on them breaking down where the % of money per gallon was divvied out. 40% of every CA $ went towards gas, the other 60% for the "free" stuff if I recall correctly. This was in BC, 2012. Not sure if all provinces are the same. Other than the "markup"..... gas is fairly cheap up there...ha!

87 is $1.75 here. Not too long ago it was below $1.50. That's the lowest I've seen in a long long time.

Gas prices have not changed in two weeks here and I'm honestly very surprised. I expected an immediate increase after the election.

Gas prices are strictly based on supply and demand.

I would think prices would start to go up given the more restrictive policies on the oil and gas industry, real or perceived, of a new administration. Maybe that's giving too much credit to the influence of the American Presidency on world wide petroleum prices. Wasn't it about eight years ago that gas was more than double the price it is currently?
On a different note, I never hear anyone complain about paying $2.50 for a 20oz. bottle of water, something I refuse to do.

The global airline industry created a huge demand for refined petroleum products.

Until the planes are all back in the air it will take deep production cuts to get prices climbing.

I'm not aware of anyone currently paying to have a line of gasoline fed their house. Water on the other hand...

True for jet fuel but gasoline, diesel and jet are 3 separate product lines with their own supply, demand and pricing.
