I'm from all over as I did 21 years in the Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic. 9 years was spent overseas and nice locations. Actually, I was pretty darn spoiled. I'd do it all over again if there was a chance. When I say spoiled, I was in the first Gulf War working the Stealth Fighter. Our tents were air conditioned. Yep...Sorry other services but I so appreciate you all as well. I actually got to fly the F-16 in the back seat twice and I gained a whole new appreciation for our pilots. Their bodies put up with a lot of stress. I actually weighed about 1,600 lbs for about 8 seconds. After the play ride I had in Italy, I had to return to work at the computer and wow, my head was mush. Enough about that, I've been a nothing but Toyotas since 1988 when I bought my first 4x4 little truck for 7K. Kept it for 6 years and sold it for 6K. I spoil my trucks because they spoil me back. I've had the Camry, (for the wife), I had the Tacoma next, and then later upgraded to the 4Runner. Had three of those due to moving back and forth overseas just didn't fit in them well. I'm 6'4" and this year finally got my Big Blue. I never wanted payments so I just waited. Now I love it and it's my breath of fresh air.

I appreciate all the hello comments and wish I had more time to navigate this forum. I work too many hours right now but plan on changing that. Now that I just finished my small lift and upgraded wheels and tires, I'm gonna jump on the tint, and maye just a few minor tweaks. If there's any idease out there let me know.

Hello Daniel. First of all from one Air Force veteran to another, thank you for your service. I spent time 11 years in and had assignments at Brooks AFB in San Antonio, RAF Greenham Common England and Ellsworth AFB SD. Greatest time in my life. Let me welcome you, from Pennsylvania. Thanks for your time as well Rgross2112. My 21-years took me to RAF Lakenheath (for those that aren't aware, that's Royal Air Force). Had the pleasure of bombing Libya. Went to Top Secret site to work the F-117A Stealth before we released to public. Released the news when we Bombed Panama. Later I took my jet to the 1991 Gulf war. Can you see why I think I was spoiled. I was in the right place right time, and on the right jet. After Stealth, I enjoyed Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. Would have stayed there for a long time, but we had just opened a new base at Aviano Air Base Italy. I hauled but there for 4 years and had the pleasure of bombing Bosnia. Next I got stuck in Cannon Air Force base New Mexico....Yuk. Too many old heads there and were stuck. They'd do a remote to Korea, and right back. I didn't want that. I became a recruiter in Davenport Iowa and set Air Force records for the north. Took over as the Easter Iowa supervisor and led out team to #1 in the nation. Lastly I wnet to Osan Air Base Korea for a remote and ran the Transit Alert Section. Worked directy for the General managing the entire Airfield. SPOILED....Yepper. I'm goona try to figure out creating albums. I want to show where I started and where I'm going with my BigBlue Toy...Cheers and Thanks for your families sacrifice.

Welcome from a recovering Air Force brat! I loved it growing up.
My old man did 25 years. Mostly in munitions, spending time in Turkey for both Desert Storm and Operation Freedom.

Very cool! Did you ever make it over to RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge?
We lived there off base for a couple years, can't wait to go back and show my kids some day.

Just stopped by the at Bentwaters. I went back to Italy 10 years after and picked up right where I left off with getting around with a rental and speaking the survival Italian. I loved England for my first tour and it didn't hurt that the English women loved us American guys. LOL
