    Greetings from MD, .

New to the group. Pulled the trigger on a 2021 SR5 CM SX today and already in with love it.

Will likely add OEM tube steps and tints in the near future And then planning to keep it stock for a while and enjoy its beauty.

sorry for the stock photos from the dealer, couldn’t get any in before it got dark.

The SX adds the SR5 gear shifter console and interior features, color-Keyed (matched) grille and bumpers, 18 inch black alloy wheels, power driver seat and (manual adjustable) passenger seat.

It does not include a 38 gal tank.

it was a trade off but worth it. I heard matching the color grille and bumpers is a pain, or doesn’t match. I went in not wanting chrome....

My 4Runner got 420 miles (20 gallons) on a full tank, And with 26 gallons this CM Tundra hits the just over 400 miles. So filling up the same amount of times per miles was an equal trade off in my eyes.

Adding OEM tube steps this week... photos to come!

    Welcome.

Have the same truck. First thing I did was get rid of those dodgy tires, and put on some General Grabber ATX

I said it already but good looking truck!
Have you thought about LED headlights?
I just put the 2019 TRD Pro's on my SR5 and what a huge difference in night optics.
Your SX would look even better with the TRP pro LED's!!

Ok wait what???? My tundra has the 38 tank and I only get around 400 cause the gas light comes on with around 7 or 8 gallons left. How are you getting 400 on your tank? I’m definitely jealous

Toyota's goofy with their options. I have a 2020 SX double cab and have the 38 gallon tank. Maybe it's something only available in Canada?

There is no way he's getting 400 miles from 20 usable gallons. I couldn't even get 300 when I had the 4.6.

All 26 gal are "usable", it just depends on how much are you willing to drive with the light on, and deal with the well known consequences, specially for the fuel pump.

Suppose he uses 25 out of the 26 available gal, and fill up with only 1 gal left, he needs to do 16 MPG to make it to 400 miles.

Not impossible. Risky, but not impossible.

I meant that as a hypothetical comparison. You’re right, all 26 gallons are NOT useable. I guess I meant my Range.

At 15.5 MPG x 26 gal, the range is at about 400 miles.

    On my 2007 4Runner, 21-22 gals by 21mpg is 450.

So yes, I do have to fill up more...

Sure if the 38 gal tank was an option, then it’s be a no brainer but it wasn’t an option.

I can't believe your only getting 15.5mpg. I would have to be driving 80mph in a headwind to achieve that. I'm around 19mpg at around 70mph on the flat and if I drop my speed to 60-65 I'm at 20-21mpg.

My truck is stock and I've been averaging 17-19mpg on the highway. I tend to drive with the faster traffic, on the interstate 70-80+mph. I'm yet to hit 19mpg, 18.9mpg on two different occasions. But I'm not complaining cuz I sure do love this truck!
