Sorry you had to go through that experience. It's always a lot harder when they are your children. As a Dad I rather go through it for them.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Dobinsons, the OME 2884 & 2885 and the stock TRD coils or at least point me in the right direction?

After pulling that shitty spacer lift I had to set my 5100s on #3 to avoid rubbing and now this thing rides like a bag full of mashed up assholes.

I get that I’m now pre-loading my coils which makes them much more harsh so that’s why I’m looking to change. Hence the question above. It looks like I’ve gotta have at min. 1.5”+ lift to clear my current 285/70s.

Thanks! My family is actually doing really well. None of us got a fever but we all lost smell and taste for about a week. I've been doing very well and have been totally symptom free for about a week now.

I actually got out this morning and hit the mountains (because there's nobody around up there). I was able to test the 4wd even more. I'd say about two feet of fresh snow is the limit for my truck. That is crazy considering over an inch was dangerous before my 4wd conversion.

Good looking out! I just checked that too and it shows free ship to me too. After double checking it’s showing free shipping over $200 spent!

The only one I am missing is the transfer case so I may just hop on that free shipping before it’s gone

Haha I threw that sticker on about 5 years ago. Razer stickers don't hold up in the sun at all lol.

I haven't played games in a hot minute. Work, school, and life have really gotten in the way.

Sometimes I like to play my NES mini. It's got about 100 NES and Gameboy games on it. One of these days I'd like to buy one of those super powerful android consoles that can run like every video game from atari to ps1 and n64. I think it's called a raspberry or something

I'll game on console from time to time. Used to a lot, not so much these days. Haven't found a game in recent time that I want to dump hours of my life into. I think Fallout 4 / Witcher 3 were the last games I truly committed time to. COD is bittersweet anymore. Had a lot of fun during the BOPs and MW2/3 years, though.

Took the slack out of the e brake cable from under the driver's side of the cab and then tried the reverse-while-engaging-e-brake to get the drums to adjust. Nothing, meaning the truck would not even slow down with the e brake fully engaged.
Jacked up the rear, spun both wheels. The passenger side seemed hard to turn and I think I heard a little metal on metal. The driver's side was easy to spin and no similar sound. I used a stubby flat head to click the adjuster once and then turned the wheel again. No noticeable difference. I ended up with 4 total clicks and will have to see if this did anything.
My understanding is that if I get the drums close to where they should be, I can use the reverse/e brake trick to get them fully snugged up to where they should be.

Did mine the other day, it took 8-10 clicks on one side and 12-16 on the other.

Now it only takes 3-4 clicks on the park brake pedal to stop the truck rolling at idle.

Tooled around on the truck today:

    1) Cleaned out debris from door channel. This pic is about 12 months worth since last cleaning.

    2) Tightened up a rattle on the driver rear door that happens with loud bass thump. Was a loose door tab so fixed it by flaring the probes.

    3) Posted a pic of a small tear about 6 months back on the aftermarket CV Axles. The outer pass side rubber/neoprene boot tore about 1/4”. FuzeIt’d the tear.

    4) In the process of examining the boots, discovered/solved the mystery of a scrubbing sound I have been hearing since about 6 months after front end rebuild. It could only be heard with windows down and passing parked cars or riding next to a wall/fence. Happened with wheel rotation.

Saw the bellow folds had a shine where they contacted each other at their angle of the dangle rims. Hand Model connected the dots and slathered some Silglyde on the rubber. Took her on a test ride and yes! No mas scrubbo.

Driveway test has the truck stopping now when the ebrake is applied in a slow reverse but only once it is nearly bottomed out. Hmm...might need a click or two more.

Changed the front, rear and transfer case fluid.
I read after that the fluid should be 1/4" lower than hole or can cause seals to fail....fml. time will tell.
Used ultra guard 75w/140 for rear. 40 bucks for 2 quarts so mobile 1 75w/90 went in the trans and front.
Trans was pretty clear. Front and rear quite a bit darker.

Front diff drain plug had build up similar to anti seaze consistency on it. Trans case was cleaner than engine oil drain plug, looked brand new really.

Oh! 3080s are definitely hard to come by, the micro center by my house only got like 20 when they first launched and have a line about 200 people long. Was the new ryzen 5 hard to come by?

I haven't fully upgraded in along time, bought a 1070ti a couple years ago right when rtx2000 came out, and I just acquired my friends i7 7700k when he upgraded.

I can’t get my hands on that either, but they came out last week. I just ordered the new case. Power supply is a nightmare to find too, but I’ll get it all sorted before the end of the year hopefully. I’m going to run my 1080 for a while if I have to

Went to do the diff breather mod. Ordered the kit from low range off-road for convenience. Bad news for me it doesn’t come with enough hose to route to the tail lights or the fuel filler neck. Probably would work great for Tacoma’s.

going to autozone in the morning for more hose. Gonna run it in behind the tail light. All in all pretty quick and painless modification

    Hand Protectors
Old pic of the removed WE13 Calipers from last year. They were seized on the inboard pistons. Was able to remove one of the outboard pistons and the inner cup had some corrosion probably from lack of timely maintenance on my part over the years.
