2017- What is the best god sounding exhaust to go with?? I have the 1794 special edition crew max.

And I actaully have an MBRP exhaust. MBRP is ok. Not bad but I want a bamuffler eventually.

 

Depends on what you like. I have a BAmuffler budget side discharge. It is a little on the loud side but it is a real low deep rumble. If you like the sound of an old v8 muscle car that is what I would recommend

 

I'm a bit spoiled by the exhaust note on one of my other rides - but the TRD is growing on me. Nice little rumble at low rpm's - and it gets progressively more rumbly as the rpms increase in a nice, even manner. Seems to be a nice fit for a pick up with a bone stock motor...

 

TRD is the way to go.

Messed around with magnaflo, borla and gibson for my Tacoma. Wish I would have just went with the TRD.

Put the TRD on my tundra 2 days after I took delivery and love it.

What is your opinion or does anyone have the Banks Monster exhaust installed on their Tundra! I had one on my diesel and got some good performances from it. I noticed they Mae it for the newer Tundras. Thanks!Pro

 

I have the Corsa db. It's a great sounding exhaust. It's not too loud but sounds great when you punch it and has no drone in the cab at any rpm.

Whatever you do, the material the TRD exhaust tubes are built out of are not meant for salt states.

 

The mufflers and the tips are fine.

 

trd system is 409ss. it's meant to 'survive' in all states. It won't look pretty, but will survive nearly a decade in most cases

 

Yes, survive prob means not have rusted out holes, but if its durability and some sound you want weld a quality T309 muffler on your stock exhaust and call it good. T409 isn't good where I live in Ohio. It rusted within a month to where I wish I kept my stock exhaust on and not wasted 1k on some sound.

 

Since you didn't specify a budget...

You want badass sound and performance go with long tube headers. I have JBA headers and just waiting for my mids and cat back from @dirtydeeds. I'm coming from the TRD and there is no comparison.

 

I installed the banks and noticed it has a super sport sound with def some gains in the hp

 

You have pics... I have a TRD and have no issues. I keep my undercarriage clean and keep a coat of rustoleum on them as well

 

I'm with @DalTee on that one, my buddy has the trd on his and it is flawless after three years in New York

 

I'm in CT too. I feel very comfortable with the TRD

 

Borla is the same..... Lasts a long time

Give the scoop on your system. Hp gains etc... What I need to get it set up

 

I actually have another exhaust at the shop getting ceramic coated now. When it gets done and I get the old one off I will take some good pics. I had the exhaust on about a week when the rust started. If I hadn't spent all the money on it I probably wouldn't worry about it. I guess I was let down because I expected too much in this environment.
I started spraying my undercarriage down with salt away right after I seen the rust starting And it hasn't got a whole lot worse since.

 

Cool... so you are ceramic coating like the headers on a Chevy. Nice!

 

I have JBA headers installed and now just waiting on the cat-back and the new mid section with the cats welded in. Once these are installed I plan to dyno but Keith has dyno'd a similar setup and I think he mentioned around 50 hp and 70 lbs/tq gains.
