If you live closer I would say lets swap grills. Black was back ordered and did not want to risk not getting it on time before my big move.

I called two dealers I deal with and 7 are in nationwide backorder. You can order it now and just wait for it to show up. I'll be leaving in less than 3 weeks and I want reasurance that it will show up in time.

I've received MANY MANY questions about the 2 damn screws that secure the bulge to the grill! i used whatever i had in my parts bin, but finally have the official Toyota Part number for you guys.

I used the screws that came off one of the 8, 1985/86 Corolla GT-S or a 2 of 1975 Celica stashed away in my screw bin for the past 25 to 30 years. :D

2012 did my grill tonight, took about 30 minutes. Put the bulge to the grill first. Next popped the bulge into place then threaded all mount bolts in. Tighten up hood release to new grill. Next tighten all to snug. Done. Next headlights .794912F5-CFB7-4CF9-9DE7-E7B2A2D997EB.jpgFE9D2BE0-ACB1-4EBF-B3FE-66D4D66EB774.jpg

We need somebody to design and 3D print an extension for that grill so we don’t have to use weather seal on it. To me it ruins the whole idea of it. Looks good from far, but that gap with the weather stripping is far from good

I hear what your saying but for to me looks so much better then grandpa grill or any aftermarket I’ve seen. I can make something to fill the gap but I s think it is fine how it is. My old grill had gap there also with the bumper I have1680B085-4F67-4262-8D2C-1948FE70899B.jpg

This is exactly why the first mods i'm doing are the headlights and grill. It changes the front end COMPLETELY.

Get the black. Then try to color match the top garnish and see.

Or, make it a night shade with matching black mirror caps, door handles and license place garnish.

ajax1 I have the same bumper. How much space is there? Looks like the perfect gap for a led light to fit. Can you post that measurement, I think I might order a light and that grill now.

Got my grill in today, took less than a week from Sparks Toyota. Installation took about 30 min on my 2011 Rock Warrior with no additional hardware needed. Need to take some more pictures tomorrow.

It's not an insert and would have to be cut out of the grill.

Was that for just the grille or bulge included? What was price before shipping? Also did they have it in stock or back ordered? Thanks!
