I have read through the PSI threads- the info is broad in terms of best PSI...
Does anyone know a good PSI for Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ p3 295/70r17 (E)? I have a crewmax. I have been trying to tweak between 38 and 32 psi. Currently at 32 PSI. Thanks

Pressure can depend on many things- tire load rating, rim width, how your truck is set up, the weight of the truck, load and accessories. Best practice is to do a chalk test so you know exactly what is best for your truck. It is super simple and really what you need to do if you install any tire other than the "stock" size and load that came on the truck. E load tires are a much different beast than the passenger tires/standard load. LT tires require more pressure to carry the same load vs standard load tires, which is why you can't use the door sticker pressure. This may help- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FabWgDAulGg

Thanks for all the great info- that got complex real quick. I used a calculator and spoke with tire rep and it came down to 35 front/rear. Now wonder how much wiggle room I have to maximize ride comfort on road. I did the chalk test at 34psi and it looked good- gonna try it at 32 and see what's up.

I run between 30 and 35 on my Toyo ATIII.

Almost every D or E tire I have owned on this truck has been within that range for daily use.

38 on my 295/70/18 Wildpeak's, passes chalk test. That's what my tire shop set them to when i got them mounted. Ride still comfortable with solid mpg.

Lot of variances make it different for everyone.

Rim width correlated to tire width, weights, load range just to name a few.

If you can feel a front tire roll under in a turn it's not tight enough. The rear can go a little lighter if your not loaded heavy
