    Hello All,
I'm new in the forum. I have owned a T100, several Tundras, a Sequoia and a Camry. I really enjoy the reliability and quality.

Curious about a few things that maybe someone can help with.
I bought a new 2020 Tundra and am rather confused with the warning tones and buzzers. When I park and get ready to leave the vehicle, sometimes I get a warning tone and sometimes I don't, Im sure its about the key fob but its never consistent when the alarm goes off. Any ideas?
Also, I figured how to keep the radio on when I kill the motor, by leaving it in gear until the song is over. otherwise if you're in park and kill the motor the music dies.
Another curious item..... when I use key fob to open wifes sequoia the lights in my tundra come on! any ideas?

    Thanks
    happy to be here

If someone has access to techstream you can turn off/disable a lot of the buzzers and tones. That was one of my complaints with my truck (like the seat belt chiming when I'm driving down the driveway at 3mph), and those can be turned off.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! That's interesting how your fob turns the Sequoia lights on!

Alright, I can answer these for you. If you open the door before taking your foot off of the brake pedal - it's gonna chime at you until you close the door. I don't know why it does this, I just know that it does do this. So if you shift to park, hit the button to turn it off, take your foot off of the brake and then open the door - you should be good. It'll obviously also chime at you if you're not in park.

As for the lights coming on, once you get your key fob within about six feet of the truck, the interior lights will turn on. This may be what's happening with you, and probably has nothing to do with your wifes key fob.
