I switched brakes on my T100 and sent them back cores that were different and they didn't care.

Are you happy-ish with the brake upgrade?

Yeah I was just about to post that I've been able to firm up the pedal a bit by spending the past 2 days screwing with the rear drums and the prop valve. It's not a firm as it was before but it feels a lot better and I can live with it now.

I'm pretty sure I went did a few too many clicks in the rear because they are getting hot! But I'm afraid if I back them off I'll be back to square one.

Quite a bit cooler. But I figure the drums don't shed heat as well since it's enclosed. I'm sure they are probably a tad too tight though. May have to back them off a hair.

Jack the back of the truck up, rotate the wheel, you should hear the pad just barely skim the drum, if it’s contant then back it off a click or 2

No, as I read it in the ‘Nutters Are Us’ section where Hand Models make stuff up website.

Something tells me this one you reco'd ain't gonna work, but maybe it arrived uncharged. Fortunately, I'm not out too much $$ if the charger comes and a full charge sees it not working.

Guess I should've done my homework to find their recommendation :(

(Ahhh. I see, there's a 3rd part, a battery pack, which attaches to the adapter... more parts to buy! still, WTF, this looks goofy af!)

Dilber(doesn’t even deserve to be called dilbert) who installed the system at the bar; installed the solenoid backwards! Most solenoids aren't bi flow, and direction is always towards the expansion valve not away. It’s actually the incoming pressure that helps keep it seated and sealed. I also pulled the drain pan and coned the pan fitting that was loose/dripping. Long day, but good pay!

I thought wonders of myself when I created this mess for brunch. Leftover brisket sautéed in a light garlic butter with a trio of fresh finely diced bell peppers and vine ripened tomatoes, 4 free range eggs from hand rubbed and stroked chickens, ahhhhh ham & cheese on toasted sourdough.

Thanks, and good work to you! I just did my first brisket yesterday! It was a 3.5# American wagyu flat. Pretty tasty, but not as tender as I would have liked due to timing at the end. So next time I know how to improve. Smoked over almond pellets until the wrap where I moved to the oven. Decent smoke ring?

Good ring! Try crutching next time if you didn't this time. Makes life hella easier, moist every time if you tent and rest for an hour or two after pulling.

Thanks! That means a lot coming from you!!
So I did crutch it, I remember you telling me about the Texas crutch! Haha but I had to bump up the oven temp(another guy gave me that tip; if it’s being wrapped, it’s not absorbing smoke, save the wood/fuel) to get the internal up. But I didn’t rest anywhere near 2 hours. 15 minutes was all she got, my 1.5 yo ate all the hot links I smoked, those 4 pieces were all that were left!
1st everything’s are always a learning experience. What do you think about celery seed as a seasoning/flavor?

Yup you need the pack too lol.

Black Friday deals are starting to roll out and there's usually a good deal on a charger/battery set. Or use it as an excuse to buy a new 20v tool.
